Ah yes, WW2. The ultimate fantasy setting

For the Warhammer 40k units in this video, both are subsets of the Guardsmen. The one's being referred to as Guardsmen I think are intended to be Cadians, the other group is the Death Korps of Krieg. Cadians are elite Guardsmen from Cadia which was a bulwark against the Eye of Terror, a gateway into the warp (think hyperspace, but in an Event Horizon kind of way.) Cadians are kind of like Guardsmen + where they operate as just all around better. Death Korps of Krieg are elite Guardsmen from Krieg, a world that tried to rebel against the imperium and were effectively abandoned to fight a civil war. Once reintegrated after hundreds of years of war the imperium allows the Death Korp to use their alternate gear as that's what they've specialized. Kriegsmen are known for their charges and lack of self preservation skills, that allow them to win by numbers.

As a fellow koopa, I approve of this battle. I appreciate some koopa representation once in a while.

What would be extra hilarious: the Toads can grab the Koopas and fling them at the enemy, Mario Kart style. (pinballing shells for bonus damage)

I wanna see a battle with WW2 units against just the Death Korps of Krieg since they're both kinda similar in weaponry and tactics.

Rematch video between Star Wars and Warhammer. With jedi and marines added.

40K should have been represented with a squad of lore-accurete space Marines, firing bunch of bolter rounds then charging into glorious melee in the name of the God Emperor of Mankind.

The two Guardsmen types are the Cadian Karshikans (most likely misspelled) and Death Korps of Krieg (very much recommend checking out the Siege of Vraks which they were involved in).

Those Imperial Guardsmen are Cadian Karskin - like special stormtroopers detachment of Cadian regiments. They are slightly better armed and wear closed helmets. Cadia itself was Imperial Stronghold on the way to Eye Of Terror (a place full of Chaos forces, demons, and madness where Real Space mixes with a psychic [and psychotic] parallel dimension of Warp). It was destroyed and now Cadians are spread on all battlefields of the galaxy. There was a saying when Cadia was falling apart: "Planet cracked before Guard did" - meaning that even when chunks of the planet's surface were already in space, guardsmen were still fighting. Death Korps of Krieg - (Kriegmarines is a meme name) from planet Krieg that burned itself in a prolonged (nuclear) civil war that ended with the pyrrhic victory of Imperial loyalists. But the effect was that planet had only one thing to export since then - millions upon millions of battle-hardened (and wat-grown) soldiers to fanatically give their lives as atonement for rebellion.

This wasn't really a fair fight. One team was all ranged units while all the other teams had at least one melee unit. :P I wonder why the all ranged unit team won...

hey Daley love the content! they are called the death korps of kreig or kreigsmen. the other unit is cadian gaurdsmen. the only marines in warhammer are space marines.

have 300 spartan's (ancient greece spartan's) hold a bridge or some other choke point from thousands of LOTR units or some other medieval or fantasy styled units

They are called the death korp of krieg and they're all part of the imperial guard (a.k.a Astra militarum all are guardsmen)

With 8 forces, why group weak with weak & strong with strong unless you just enjoy predictability? Plus, with such varied terrain that will support some troop types over others, without good AI, this was a known slaughterfest.
