There hasn't been a new ship since the start of the year To complete the Executor fleet, these ships could be added: -Punishing One (Dengar) -Outcast (Fennec Shand) -Jaster's Legacy (Jango Fett)
Really awesome! Ships need to be talked about more, because it's so important. Could you please do a video on off-meta counters to the top 3? That would be really helpful for most people I guess
That Plo Koon trick you talked about, with the Marauder, that's an awsome move. Even though under Endurance flag, it's kicking **s and get's my chrystals coming in from Fleets. Thanks man, keep up the good work.
Trench's ship in the show was able to detect cloak so id say either ability to target or a dispell/prevention of cloak. It sent out hyena bonbers and had tracking artillery. Torpedoes or something?
Oh and one thing i forgot to mention. They thought he was destroyed along with his ship so perhaps a unique ability when dealing with ships that can destroy other capital ships
Endurance is a very good option for the Sith ships if someone doesn't have Leviathan unlocked. I was getting holds with that in TWs (500+mil guild) and in Kyber 2 until Lev unlocked.
For my money, I put the executor higher than the profundity. The profundity is all rng. It's annoying on defense because rng can kill your counters, but it can be awful on offense too because rng can kill your counter. Profundity is all rng, but the executor is all strategy. It's losing steam some on defense, but it's incredible on offense. I've been mopping the floor with leviathans with my executor lately and I don't have a super high relic fleet. I've just learned how to do it. There are a few basic things leviathan users could do to prevent it, that I'm not saying here because I want people to keep not doing them, but until people smarten up the executor will keep slaughtering the leviathan. Took down a full r9 leviathan lineup last round to steal a win from a significantly stronger opponent who thought they'd checkmated me with it. That's what this game is all about for me and it doesn't exist in enough new stuff these days. I want units that let me win with skill and game knowledge. Rng based crap is crap.
Negotiator can beat Profundity with Anakin, Marauder, and Ahsoka in the opening line up. It does semi depend on RNG because you have to go all in on the Y-wing and sometimes Anakin gets dazed so you can’t mass swarm, and some times you can’t get it out before negotiator is ready to give you a reinforcement which is really the best scenario. It can be cleaned up but I’ve noticed that it only happens every once in a while. It might be different though for others because I only have gear 12 bad batch right now so maybe relics help in that situation but I’m not sure.
Dang not even an honorable mention for the Endurance rework? Lol I know it’s not great but I do think that fleet is slept on. I saw it hold in GAC against profundity post re-work. I wish people would give it more of a chance I think it would surprise a lot of folks with all of its survivability and the crazy damage marauder puts out I think it has potential for sure
I know its an old video but you reference combining empire fleets into 1 team. What ships do you keep or leave out for the super team? (And which capital ship)
Typically it's thrawn lead, starting TFP, Vader and Scythe. Reinforce defender and interceptor at a minimum. It's actually the only way I currently use empire
For the exec v nego ive been doing really well with a starting lineup of r4 ani, y wing and marauder with 5 star g10 bad batch, nego mass assist on bamdo, ani aoe marauder stealt ani, and plo koon reinforces and forces himself to taunt, somerimes ahsoka is needed to deal with HT otherwise ive got like a 75% win rate
Malevolence really needs another ship like the trifighter (It could do exactly the same as iden for empire lol) and Cuz It IS the only sep capital fleet It would not get his ship stolen like tarkin or mace lmao
i wonder if Negotiator can also be considered a good enough fleet because it can be a semi-profundity counter. There are many times where I can beat the regular 7* profundity starter (even when the enemy has a really fast Outrider) and reinforcements by putting ahsoka first and dispelling Y-wing, then with a good bit of RNG i make sure anakin lives and kill each ship 1 by 1. However, there are other times were they just destroy anakin (causing him to be one health/die from burn after the initial mass assist) and the enemy gets ult near instantly. Not nearly as consistent as the executor counter which is a cakewalk especially with the high relic plo koon tip, but i feel it should atleast be considered. Maybe? 😄
For those who don’t have Leviathan but do have the Sith ships (including the Conquest ones), throwing them under Mace makes Mace an okay fleet. Not amazing but okay.
Excellent info! What is your preferred defensive strategy? Set the big three on defense? I usually save them for offense. What are the best defensive fleets to build out?
I do the big 3 on defense, but I really wouldn't die on that hill. It's not impervious, unfortunately I'm not sure there's a strat that can cut down on the RNG of dodges/crits/resists
I love malevolence so much. I get that it doesnt keep up once you go against people with all the toys. But down in aurodium i use my 5star malevolence to 2 shot 7* executors consistently. You just bring in level 1 ships to burn the mass assist and each starting ships first moves. Then malevolence can take it out easy after that

This might be the only Calvin video I have ever disagreed with, I agree with the top 3 obviously, but after that ehhhh, now I love fleets (no one else does😭) so I test fleets all the time in fleet arena against the top 3, but you really only need 6 fleets to clear and hold every GAC! The main thing I disagree with is malevolence being so low, when you have vulture, hyena, and spy starting with imp tie bomber, and the other two geos in reinforcements malevolence can easily stomp profundity with a very good win rate (and even on the low chance you lose it’s a very easy cleanup) and having that easy profundity counter with malevolence makes tarkin basically useless because negotiator with marauder is almost a perfect executor win rate, chiamera has a extremely high win rate against leviathan (tie defender is the most important ship by far), and then since malevolence stomps profundity you have a easy 6 fleets to stomp GAC by putting all 3 GL fleets on defense while putting those 3 off meta fleets on offense with raddus and finalizer on the the rare case you need a cleanup Edit: you mentioned in the video that tie bomber is needed for more important things besides being on malevolence which really just isn’t true mainly because the only other possible thing it would be needed for is empire which it is completely irrelevant to that counter as you will always start with scythe, imp tie fighter, and Vader, and then you will use special for tie fighter on sith bomber, then use vaders special, which should then trigger Thrawn to call in tie defender who would then stun Sith bomber, and then the scythe will dispel all the buff including Sith bombers taunt, and then most of the time Vader will one shot Sith fighter with his basic and if he does it’s over you basically won, and then next you’d call in tie interceptor to apply buff immunity and by that point Thrawn should have his ult and you just take out any stragglers! So you never should need tie bomber (I don’t even add more than tie defender and tie interceptor to my reinforcements) and then you leave tie bomber for malevolence to beat profundity with a high win rate
I would have liked to hear your thoughts on midgame accounts that don't have profundity and don't face it often. Specifically, Gerbil(?) has had great results with the rebel fleet using raven etc under akbar.
If you don't have profundity, the rebel fleet has two variations. The better one requires a relic SRP/bistan in the starting line up and it can beat exex triple attacker and Nego.
@@CalvinAwesome in the picture no, but with a different lineup (like Sith Fighter in the starting lineup), placement order can matter a lot towards making sure Mk6 still comes out second with the AI. For fleet arena climbs I always place Palp’s Shuttle first because between it and Mk6, placement order determines RI order. Usually on defense I place Dorito in the starting lineup so it doesn’t matter but I still preserve the same order for clarity, and if I suspected my opponent would be trying to mirror my Levi I would have Fighter in the starting lineup, Shuttle in the 1st RI slot, and Mk6 in the 2nd.
I love your content, Calvin but you repeated a phrase I have heard before that drives me nuts. How is it “kind of a D move” to put all three best fleets on defense? If you know and can execute the off meta counters I think this is the strategy everyone SHOULD be using. This isn’t baseball. There aren’t unwritten “spirit of the game” rules. Hopefully you just are saying that tongue in cheek?

At the end of the day Nego is still superior in every counter. Endurance is alright if you haven't unlocked nego yet, but after there's 0 reason to use endurance after
