You can definitely see how it was supposed to be a horror game, and I like how some of the old heros are now mythic survivors. And you can see where a lot of their ideas started
I’m pretty sure these kinds of monsters or whatever actually took over this world the survivors got rifted into a controlled island (battle Royale game) to technically hide from the last reality aliens and monsters but it eventually fails as the herald or the zero point itself destroyed the island minutes before it got fully chromed with alien goo
I have played STW since 2011 and watching all of these promos from over the years breaks my heart knowing how much potential the game truly has. If only epic actually listened to the people who loved the game to its bitter end.
If its was a game with save and reload yea After kill the msk maybe its Can have a good ending but here we don't have and if we have a good ending we Can't play stw After get the good ending
The storm hasn't won and Homebase hasn't lost. The fight is still going on, and we know this because of the STW packs, like the newest one, Dr. Vinderbot. This means that Homebase tried bringing back Dr. Vinderman, but as a robot
Whatever happened to this epic games? The epic games that cared about save the world. The epic games that wanted to make fortnite into a team oriented zombie shooter instead of a 100 player battle Royale. We need that epic games back. #savesavetheworld
The sad part is battle Royale is also slowly dying in my opinion, they just want kids to take over and use their moms credit card for money, they already killed stw now br. Rip Fortnite
They probaby didnt, the generator was out, and they were really scared bc they said like "look at that" when the zombies were coming, so they are probably dead
I really enjoyed save the world and hearing that twine peaks was cancelled and no more features was coming to the game just made me sad, i really wanted to know the story line and new events, i just wish they could change their mind but they already made their minds and its full access now 😢😢
If Fortnite had been as it was originally going to be. A sort of Left 4 Dead meets Minecraft, the game would have passed without grief or glory. And Epic would have focused its resources on the Unreal franchise.
Im so sad for save the world. I wish they cared about it more than they do, assuming they care about it at least a little. I can only hope they make a second game and turn it into what save the world could have been, their original project didnt deserve to die just because battle royale became more popular.
Really hoping so.. my hope for save the world is gone but who knows, save the world 2? that really just has to happen.. we need to get to the point where dennis jr was etc
As a founder I’m very proud of how the mode turned out, it’s a VERY long grind if you play casually, I still play to this day (Mainly because as a founder I get paid V bucks for daily’s forever, but still a lot of fun)
They need to bring the horror back to save the world. Honestly I think they should make "Fortnite two" that's just what save the world was supposed to be. They threw away so much potential 😔.
The only source that we have of the original fortnite that we once loved is only Save The World. Yes, Epic did stop updating Save The World, But I think they should keep it the way it is so they don’t mess it up like Battle Royal. This had potential but, it is what it is.
yeah, we wouldn't want them to make the same mistake they made in BR. However, I would like it if they still updated it, just not as drastically or consistently.
I love building bases even if it’s an atlas that’s 4 min it’s just fun building a huge base then acting like an army with your friend, “There swarming the fort.”
Not gonna lie I kind of wish they brought these classes into battle royal, would change things up if you had melee fighting ninjas or shoulder charging tanks (I play zero build cause I am not good at the whole building element)

Like it's sad they don't care anymore... back then an event had its whole entire trailer now they just throw a new quest line which only requires you to interact with some items and listen to a dialogue and maybe a new llama in the shop... I'm heartbroken seeing the game I love just die like that..
I saw some concept art for it originally, it was supposed to have different less cartoony graphics and some of the husks and mist monsters were going to look quite terrifying, but it was changed for their own more original cartoon graphics, it’s just a shame they tossed the game aside with all that revenue from battle Royale they could really complete the game and add more content, the game is fun just needs completion
Damn I've played since season 4 and never seen these trailers except the one with ramirez and penny defending the durr burger with the ninja and outlander
The Lego Mode is the Opportunity to bring back Save the World in a New Form. It's Been showed that it's a Co-Op Survival mode with a Creative Mode Option. I just feel like Save the world was ahead of it's time.
The reality of this is trash. The structure limit is 3k, takes more than that to build forts like those, and on top of that, they spawn too close to setup a maze, or run right through it
i loved save the world back then i cant Bellevue that fortnite is save the world but epicgames change it in to battle royal i wish that save the world was back to were it was i feel so sad ):
People are saying "that it's like epic dont want anyone to play the game"beacuse apparantly u cant buy it now u can get it by buying the metal team leader pack in br so there trying to make even more money
wow STW is now a side game mode and it is still better then fortnites BR will ever be. well unless they balance,fix and help the game be more fun with less exploits ect, fortnite is ok but the fact that epic straight up forgot about STW puts a tear in my eye and not a happy one. #savesavetheworld it is a great game mode with more things to do in BR really just try to get save the world, It has a bunch of fun stuff packed in to it as well as just being PVE fun
U can see how much it went from the first trailer to being a horror to now being a kids game with fun in the last trailer, this game really did go downhill as u carry on watching the trailers, if fortnite never made battle royale those 150million+ people who play wouldn’t even know it existed, what went wrong epic, why change the game?
