No, the President's airplane was there, so everyone had to hold in place for a while. The clue was the comment about the guy who will take the taxes from the big bucks is here, aka the President.

Oh man, June 26 was nothing compared to what happened at PHL on June 30… closed ramp meant over 20 PHL arrivals were stuck on taxiways, some for over 3 hours during the storms

Must be a Philly thing. My son was on an American flight this Sunday that sat for over 3 hours between landing and gate due to weather. Mostly lightning kept the ramp crews inside. His connection was cancelled and he didn’t get out of Philly until Monday night.

You gotta grab the ATL audio from the last few days. Weather has ransacked our operation over here and tonight we had flights arriving and departing all the way until 2am. At one point the entire field was littered with conga lines of planes sitting waiting to depart or for gates😂

I think it was for weather not POTUS. TAP doesn't fly to PHL and both TAP211 and TP203 diverted to PHL on 6/26/24 due to weather at Newark. POTUS was nowhere near Philly that day.
Nothing will beat the radio traffic on UPS #1 Hog island Road they are UHF 450 Mhz DMR Motorola connect Plus, coupled with 131.3 especially during November and December...coupled again with a live Camera facing the ramp and maybe a live stream...Ramp holds 27 airplanes
