Thats actually kinda similar to a performance art piece called "Burning Piano" though I forget who it's originally by. Undyne is an avant-garde art nerd confirmed

@@sunshibe8811 probably because in the concept art he doesn't wear a shirt but that change but probably the world sprite was made before this change. And if you're curious about how to draw the real sans just search sans temmie chang concept art or something like this and you will find the official concept art of sans.
@Liam Koleric His battle sprite - absolutely, there's nothing unclear there, obviously wears a shirt. In his overworld sprite - it does look like his ribs are just exposed, or at least wears a shirt with a rib pattern. It's probably most visible when he's standing to the side.

I love that Toby just starts playing a song from Deltarune a year before Dletarune was even released. Very good. EDIT: I meant Chapter 2, not just the game in general. Chapter 2 came out next year and had 'My Castle Town' in it.
Well, not really... Toby said on Twitter a long time ago that official art and merch were not canon. Probably to preserve the idea that you can imprint your own qualities on the characters, especially Frisk.
He actually used to ACTed nice to people when he used his save and resets for good as he said in New Home Genocide untill one day he abused it and become the person he is known.
i like it when toby foreshadows stuff. like in the undertale 6th anniversary stream where he says things like "workout-ready body" and "agree2all". i feel like it's a good idea to pay attention to weird things toby says whenever he makes an appearance
In the opening animatic, there's a monster that looks like Asgore standing twice as a tall as a human. Assuming the human was six feet tall, and seeing that Undyne is just slightly shorter than Asgore, I'd say it's a good estimate. But none of the monsters seem exceptionally tall in Deltarune, so I'm not really sure.
This is in the "I Want To Stay With You" Pacifist timeline I always seen this as the only thing Frisk can say to make the story come a full circle Originally Frisk didn't wanted to stay with Toriel, because they wanted to go back to the surface, but after a long Adventure of Making Friends, they wanted it to not end, so they changed their minds about Toriel and they kept contact with the other friends they made along the way CHARACTER DEVELOPEMENT
so i put the concert on my tv when it was live and watched about half of it with my sister who knows nothing about undertale and she gave nicknames to everyone. here's what she called everyone: Papyrus: Minecraft Skeleton Toriel: Nursery Hippo Frisk: Off-Brand Lisa Simpson Asgore: Off-Brand Beast (as in beauty and the beast) Alphys: (Robot) Albert Einstein Undyne: Monster High Girl (probably her least favorite) Mettaton: Karen (like the spongebob character) Monster Kid: Yellow Barney Burgerpants: Sausage (our tv cut off BP's ears and hat so he looked like a sausage)

The characters are portrayed in a way that is carricatural, they behave the usual way and they only do and say things that we expect them to do and say. That was my analysis of 5 joke dialogues before the spectacle.
Who wants to bet Asgore had all the time in the world but decided to show up when it's early but not too early but also not too late because any other time would be weird Asgore is the introvert in all of us
Nothing like in the game we only get the animation of him cleaning a glass and him bringing burgers/fries to frisk and sans during the bar scene. I’m glad we got a little more of an animation of my boy grillby 💕
