My brother thanks for bringing this topic up In Ghana today, one must be careful who one Associate with.Truth and Justice is no longer applicable in Ghana for the most part.
My own blood brother was going to do that to me for a bank loan. Meanwhile, the amounts of cash that have been pumped into the 12 bedrooms apartment complex will shock you. But for GOD being so good, one of the bank workers knew me in person and hinted the bank manager. The loan was denied to him. How did i get the full story? The same brother's first daughter called me and told me the whole shocking story. We all need to have ALMIGHTY GOD on our side all the time. May GOD have mercy on you 🙏
Please if possible, turn your house into a guest house, and all payments should be electronically done. With AirBnb, you can get all the information from the people and how many days they are coming to stay directly. At the entrance there should be cameras and at the reception there should be cameras. You can connect them and check them on your phone from everywhere in the world
Yes, I agree. When the almighty is with you, nobody can be against you ! The earth is his and everything in it. And he will bring the evil one to judgement , that is for sure. 🙏
There is no amount of money that would make me buy a house in Ghana the laws in Ghana makes no sense and the laws don't work Ghana is a lawless Place how can a person get money from the bank and not put anything up for collateral and once the person defaults because the person did not put anything in for collateral the assumption is that person lives in the house so we will use that as the collateral the bank has committed a crime as well as the courts have committed a crime why should it take 3 years and counting and still the situation is not resolved if I were him since he has his documents and the proper authorities also have his documents as the owner I would sell that property get my money and be done with the house it has never made sense to me that a person doesn't live in Ghana but wants to do business or build a house let this be a lesson to everyone if you do not live in Ghana full-time or and Ghana majority of the time for you to have your hands and eyes on everything that is going on with your business or building your house please please wherever you live get a house there and do business there also
Bro Kofi, this is very sad and it's happening to lots of Ghanaians abroad. We were very fortunate as same thing happened to us but my husband went on holidays and saw the auction notices on the wall. The case went to court and we were lucky to get our house back
We should not be too quick to pre-judge him. The complainant is being a little bit cautious due to legal ramifications and I can relate to that. His account seems credible enough and very realistic. Ghana is a bogus country because our systems do not work for the defrauded
Hummmm, That is why I like Ewe people. Only three (3) days or week, the person who buy the house tooo or go died. Ah i like Ewe people NOGOKPO ALL THE WAY
Please please please please please support him The wife must go and stay in front of house holding the documentation signed These is not Solicitors Barristers cases Is Simply Boldness Standing Positive attitude
Truly there’s no fear of God in many of us. May God have mercy and fight our battles and give us Victory. All I can say is pray and God will avenge you.
It's very sad to work towards settling in Ghana, and such a thing happened. It seems like when some of us travel abroad we become strangers in own country.
This is absurd! The court should have done due diligence to ascertain ownership before auctioning someone's property! What kind of law and court system do we have in this country. Injustice!
Kofi according to this guy he built the house from the scratch on his own specifications. Brought almost everything from abroad for the project to suit his tastes. This story is very sad and unfortunately very common. This will never happen in China.
Also people need to know that nana Addo, his law firm and children are to be feared. Do you see how the NAM1 case was handled. ? Do you know his lawyer?
You have to do everything about the house in your name all property taxes, water and electric bills in your name and get copies of the receipts sent you abroad every time they're paid, that is your assurance. I once followed up on my property tax and found a wrong name as owner and went through all the processes to correct that the same day. That could bring ownership issues in future if it were not corrected! Looks like this guy was not going to Ghana often, that can be the disadvantage. I have been to Ghana every year since 1993.
I don't understand this issue in anyway, it rather upsetting me for the fact that this man doesn't have the courage to mention the name of the bank in question because of the law firm involved. how can they take over and sell a property that is not on your documents as a collateral for a loan? This man sounds too soft for my liking. In all of this it'll get to a point no one abroad will let anyone in Ghana take care of their propertys for them, they'll let it set there empty till whenever they come back.
You are right and most innocent people will suffer to get a place to stay but because of some of these stories, most big houses with owners in abroad will rather lock them for peace of mind and protection of their properties
In fact, I am even suspecting the man himself may be part of the game because he is too soft on the matter. Ghana 🇬🇭 judges and layers are hardened criminals
Borgas, remember that any house a borga builds is just free house for the extended family members to inherit in the future because your children abroad will never come and inherit those properties you left in Ghana nor can your abrokyire children fight against the extended family over those properties. Your extended family may fight your children both spiritually and physically over your properties. Borgas, please hand these things with wisdom oo
I wish I could tell my story. How a so called family member used my property as collateral for loans. He magically was able to change the title into his name. Our court system is a joke. They make it easy to defraud ordinary Ghanaians.
The collateral should be the subject of context. The court was support to do its own investigation as to the ownership of the property. We need a wild group to give us instant justice.
My own brother wanted to do that to me but I thank God Almighty for revealing it to me in a dream on so many occasions now I have my house back. This is so sad and can happen to anyone. May God Almighty intervene
Kofi good reporting this is the reason why some people don’t want to build houses in Ghana is better to buy here in USA and it worth more than Ghana infact Ghana have a long way to go from the government and it’s corruption
The court failed to do due diligence. What evidence was presented before they presumed or assumed the property is for that quack of of a tenant? Did they check with the relevant department or ask the so called plaintiff to present evidence? That court ruling should be quashed. That Chinese guy should collect his money from whoever sold to him. This is absolute bonkers
It all boils down to our system of governance. There are no proper government structures in place. The government is corrupt so everything is foul. Ghanaians!, sack the old crook called Akufo addo from power!
KOFI tell this man to look for a journalist to public this case in every newspaper in Ghana. Put the pictures of the house, pictures of the rightful owners, pictures of the one who used the house for loan and the bank and even the court that gave that judgement.
@@makeupbyglorianobody cares we whi the banks lawyer is. The president is put in power to protect the people's interest not his pocket. If this is his side business, that's his to deal with but justice must prevail. No one is more human than the other!
I will advice anyone living outside Ghana and having a property in Ghana to install CCTV at the premises to monitor activities. No matter the cost. It will save you than loosing the property
Knowledge has increased nowadays people have learned about entrusting family member, friend, or even employing someone to sit in the house especially when you build a house it is imperative that you have all your documents and have your documents filed with the proper authorities if you choose to go the route of having people stay in your home you must always do surprise visits . the sad part is the person living abroad lives like a poor person and takes their money to build a house in Ghana it baffles me that such people don't have a house in the country in which they live in so at least they can enjoy the fruits of their hard labor
This is true I have a similar story Bought 4 plot in kasoa, build 2 bedroom self contain on half of the plot. I bought poles and brought light. Now I rented it out to someone who was a family friend. He conieved with the kings to build on the 2 plots on the side. When my family saw it, they approach the contractor building, and told them that it's 4 plot , they couldn't believe. ..it's a long story.. but to make matters short. I have lost the house...
Kofi you are right I had the same experience only God review it to me in a dream and I dealt with him. The woman next to me she saw it wanted to tell me but she could not. What she said is that my God who is with me is great. I came to Germany at the age of 14 years doing someone good if not God he would have use juju to take the house from me. People just this year I kicked him out after staying in the full furnished house for 5 years ooooo this is real oooo please watch well. No be joke this is my story. Addo d law firm OSP might know better.
Hello Brother Kofi A thanks your efforts, infact my point of view is Ghana judicial system is poor this matter doesn't has to take long time like this point 2 the Judge who roul the case has done wrong investigating. Thanks I hope you will love my comments
The man’s story doesn’t sum up. How can he hide the renter’s the financial institution and the Chinese man’s name just because of security reasons while’s you’re dying slowly . Just get a good lawyer to start everything afresh. If their lawyer is nana addo and so what
The samething happened to me when I rented 5 bedrooms apartment to a certain couples and court wanted to sell the house because they refused to pay their loan. The house wasn't mine but I gave it to them for only two years. I was luck that i saw court injunction posted on the building.
Why has this man allowed a job in abroad to take all his time to the point that you are not even able to take time to take care of your house and get the right people to entrust your house to. You are 67 years old and you should be back home enjoying your retirement and not working so much in abroad after you and your wife have been there for so many years. In life, you loose the things you neglect. I hope they learn from this and put things right in Ghana before they leave. Boss are you not tired enslaving yourself in that job in America? Wishing him all the best.
This issue is serious organized 419. The bank, the guy and Chinese person should be arrested even if they give the house back. This sounds like an organised crime. The high court should investigate it ; it doesn't' matter if the law firm is for Nana Akufo the president even if he knows something about this ,he must be investigated, and punished to the full extent of the law. The law must work in Ghana. How can you buy something without proving and scrutiny of the documents. Per this man's side of the case he has worked over 20 years in a white man's land to build this home only for it to be given to a Chinese person. In China they won't even take up a case against their own Chinese person with a foreigner so why do we entertain, fail and put our own people in pain for foreigners to enjoy. This case and others like this need to be resolved now; else you all know the election is coming. We the local need to let our voices be heard if this is how our authorities will criminalize the law and link with foreigners to make Ghanaians life hell then we will not allow it. This man must get his house now, and any one claiming the house dissolved from ownership simple Asa.
Very sad....he should not give up. The Chinese are buying Ghanaian properties in illegal ways. I know a similar issue where a person borrowed from a bank and used his house as collateral then the bank sold the house to some Chinese. But he fought in court and now it has been ruled in his favour but it took long. This case is sad because the man can't even access his house, unlike the other case the man was still living in the house.
The story doesn't add up. How can the court give an order for a sale of someone building to pay someone loan. And which type of document did the bank present to the Chinese as a valid document? It's either the owner of the house is holding a fake document and the original document is with the person who he trusted him in buying the house. So for the truth to come out they should go and check the documents in their hands if it is original. Because this case if it was in Europe like they are rich because the bank will pay heavily but this thing can't happen in Europe.
My little suggestion is that when doing anything in Ghana, consider the cost of the project and flight cost, it pays to regularly visit the project so you can get first hand information about what is happening. I visit Ghana at least twice a year due to my numerous projects, make wild guys
You are right I said this before this is the time to make changes to things also be very careful who you involve in doing the project especially family members good luck
@@aminu_lahh yes but better than regret in future especially making changes which may be too late and end up costing you more take his advice visit regularly is the best way to go good luck
To be honest What about the documentation signed by the qualified Knowledge based Solicitors Sub CHIEFS Land Registry office Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Questions Was Contract signed by the tenant????? Provided The payments documentation signed I see no reason why these individuals cannot own the property Which Solicitors and finance institutions creates unnecessary documents and took advantage of the system and the situation These is cowboy case The Financial institutions Check the background All are part and parcel of the games playing This man is must serious There are using stolen Letter head in all matters These must be reported to the investigation team Not Ghana police 🚨 All will be sorted Chinese man must move out Thank you for bringing these to the conversation of the public
Kofi Watch out, this man doesn’t want you to help him, ok if he don’t have the guy photos, the load agent will have, then we can declare him or her wanted
There's no point praying first it's criminal offence and first they've to make a police report because its a scam this man is shallow he should wake up #
Very sad story, they don't even have the photos of the tenant. How on earth, you have lived abroad for a long time and documentation is very important abroad. So sorry to hear it can happen to anyone abroad. We all need to learn from people's shared experiences. Most Ghanaians are very wicked even your own relatives or even children, lies upon lies and corruption on large scale. Eieeeee Ghana, mmmmmm 😢😢😢
Africa My Africa*** I always love to hear what our brothers and sisters are meeting with ,but once you change to local language,i get lost and i cant even follow what is it.This happens to all African Countries even though they are trying to make sure that the citizens get it all.Comments are all in english, that means people got the full story. Thanks for sharing
The man in question is not serious thats why the guy used his weakness to do him 419... Someone who lived at US and u will do this boortii for things to go slow like this dieer chaiii...why don't u want to mention that loan company
Kofi don’t be surprise about Nana’s firm , my father -in-law house opposite Guinness sports Dansoman is been stole from my sis-in-law because those guys are from Akyem. Kofi y’all know Kojo Aquai “musician “ his house been taken from his daughter after she passed away. Charles Amoah know , Guinness sport own ‘landlord “ they all know kojo own that house but it been stolen from his daughter. People are wicked bro specially Ghanaians
I know this story. The building almost opposite Hansonic hotel didn’t belong to Kojo Acquai. He rented it and the owner was also in the US and died mysteriously. After his death, Kojo Acquai changed the papers and denied the family the building. Unlucky for Kojo Acquai, he also passed away. I know the original owner and family so please don’t say what you don’t know.
Unbelievable ! Ghana. This is not a real bank. As at now Akuffo Addo is not practicing as a lawyer . So why is the bank claiming him to be their lawyer currently ? Serious. Fight for your right .
Majority of properties in Ghana had no Land titles only indenture, so is easily for the guy to have a new indenture and register the land at lands commission and have a building plan re- designed and submitted all the documents to the bank in his name for a loan
So Ghana After all the big Schools and certificates ,A whole court without a good search can sell a whole house eeiii Mr Judge, was this house a collateral??? The same way is happening at Tema Port .They intentionally takes the Mercedes Benz and Range Rovers from the Importes and later use it themselves here in Ghana. Why this wickedness???
The apparent compromise of our country's legal system is disconcertingly evident. We find ourselves in a situation where a judge, seemingly swayed by a questionable gift, can render a verdict in favor of the giver. The unmistakable bias becomes evident as the judge, in a dubious manner, rules in favor of a financial institution, possibly influenced by the affiliation of their legal representatives with Akuffo Addo Prempeh and Co. Bro Kofi please tell the victim to stop acting soft😏 Bogos County!
If the government doesn't fix this land and property ownership issue, I will never build a property in Ghana. I have been chasing a land litigation issue for years now. The shocking part is that I bought it from a family acquaintance.
