This deck had good positioning before glitters. I think glitters made some competitive players stop sleeping on it. There is a similar deck, BW blade, which has most of the same white cards and artifacts, but swaps synth for tithing blade and runs the black sacrifice artifact and draw cards. I think that deck also has a chance to become more popular. MH3 will completely change all of this though.
Mengu has played the orzhov version of this archetype before. I think it’s much worse, tithing blade is useful but synthesizer is so much better than mephitic draught/ichor wellspring and the aggressive angle of Boros is so much of the deck’s strength
@nikhilchhagan7371 I use gates. It makes 3 color mana very consistent and I throw in just a couple, not a full load, of 4 basilisk gates and it helps me close out games quickly. I dont play online. all local metagame but I expect over the next few months it will catch on online. Or longer if I'd shut up about it.

40:55 looks like archaic Dutch. The letter 's' is sometimes written with an 'f', I see the same in my ancient-smelling inherited 'ye olde' Bible. Edit: Also, the word 'zuyd' (south) is written as 'zuid' in modern Dutch. The usage of 'y' in that instance is archaic. It was written this way 300+ years ago.
i want to see what happens to affinity without glitters! they banned glitters a few days before the pauper tournament i was preparing for and my affinity deck falls apart completely without it! is affinity still viable at all?
Long time fan, first time commenter. How do you feel about seeker of the way in synth lists? I found that it really let me stabilize against aggro decks after a weaker opening while also allowing big hits with wedding invitation

its good that all that glitters got banned, no questions there, but the same time it gave to this deck some more speed that is necessary...you lost the first 2 matches because you pretty much didnt do anything the whole game..sure u drew a ton of cards, but without an impact....i believe the deck needs sthing that speeds up things a little...
