I wasn't so sure at first these two would be great together, but after seeing how things have gone for them in the first 2 episodes of season 3, I'm starting to pick something up/see that these two might actually like each other.

been putting this comment on a fair bit of huntlow videos bc i'm curious what y'all think! while i think it's cute, my opinion on this ship is that hunter needs more time to HEAL before he gets involved in a long-term relationship with someone. their shared story introductions make them seem similar, yes, but not a lot of people realize the kind of abuse belos did to hunter DOES to a person, especially when it comes to healthy relationships that aren't just you clinging onto someone for support like a lifeline once you realize they're not going to hurt you like the last person you trusted did. yeah it worked out in the show bc cartoon logic, but from my own experiences, grabbing onto the first few people who made you feel like a human being and deciding you're in love with one of them doesn't really end well, especially if the other person is still recovering/learning from their OWN trauma/self esteem issues. tldr: it's a cute ship but they both need THERAPY, not romantic love imo. tell me your thoughts about why you ship them in the replies though, i'm curious why so many people enjoy it bc i don't get it personally /gen
I think Hunter himself wanted to start building a relationship because Willow didn't love him before this episode and maybe I'm the only one who thinks that but Hunter becomes happier with her like Amity and Luz? But in principle, you may be right that Hunter has not yet departed from Belos, but I like this ship and in the end everything is fine with them (this is my opinion)
@@_ya_banan_ it's definitely a cute ship and i can absolutely see your points, ty for replying! i could absolutely see hunter being happier with her, i suppose i'm just thinking the relationship might not last because of hunter grabbing onto the very first person who made him feel safe and happy and his teenage hormones translating that feeling into 'love.' it'll only work out long term if they really talk about their issues and get therapy in my opinion. nothing wrong with the ship at all! i think it wasn't the show's fault for having to speed up the romance process bc of the crunched down season 3, but i could only really see it working if they WERE given a lot of time and therapy. thank you for your opinion, it was cool to read!
@@PH0B0PH1L1A tbh i imagine hunter's healing process and the buildup to this relationship would've been a lot more fleshed out if disney didn't decide to nuke the majority of season 3 like seriously disney wtf, this had the potential to reach a climax to rival the likes of gravity falls (though thats a really high bar) and all that buildup disappeared with the majority of s3 good points though, i think the two of them pair quite well but some therapy is definitely in order for both, especially hunter
@@elrondxiloscient THIS is something i COMPLETELY agree with, 100%!!!!! i wish we had that time for 20 more adventures like luz said. the writers did their best but yeah, disney didn't give them much to work with. damn homophobic disney shareholders, preventing us from getting a more fleshed-out and realistically written heterosexual relationship... /lh
