Troop. No debate. No disrespect to the Jackson’s, but without Troops version we wouldn’t have the two newer versions. Troop popularized it.

Motown didn't promote the last Jackson 5 album. Without the original we wouldn't have the Troop version.

I think Troop did a very great job on this and I would have to say they did it better. Their background singers were also better. It doesn't take away from J5 because they were unmatched back in the day.
