Dr. Ramesh Wadhwani first came to Swami at the behest of his wife, Mrs. Sunita Wadhwani in the year 1979. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University in 1963 and Master of Engineering in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Science in 1971. He received his Doctoral of Science in Electrical and Bio-medical Engineering from Washington University, Saint Lious in 1977.
With more than 40 years of experience in software architecture and application development, Dr. Wadhwani found his passion in telecommunications, medical diagnostic systems, and Investment banking. As the founder and CEO of Sai Systems International INC, a technology and healthcare services company in the US, he has extended his expertise to projects at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), Sathya Sai schools, Seva organizations in India, USA and several other countries. As the President of Prasanthi Trust, a US-based 501(c3) charitable trust in support of the Sathya Sai Central Trust (SSSCT), Prasanthi Trust creates awareness of the magnificent projects being executed by our dear beloved Bhagavan, in Puttaparthi, in Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations (SSSSO), and all over the World. He has had many opportunities to participate in several Seva projects through the Prasanthi trust alongside SSSCT and several other SSSSO’s. Bhagwan would lovingly call him ‘Hey Computer’!
Bhagwan has blessed him and the family with many close physical encounters over the years. He has served in various capacities in Sathya Sai organization and currently serves as an Advisor Zone 1 SSSO-GC. In August of 1982, Bhagwan in dream told his visiting niece: ‘Tell your Wadhwani uncle Sai Nivas will become a Sai Center’. Sathya Sai Center of Shelton was thus formed in December of 1982 in Sai Nivas as per Sankalpa of beloved Bhagwan. He feels humbled at the various opportunities to share love and guidance that he has received from his God incarnate, Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
