All I Want - Joni Mitchell cover (Feat. Kami Maltz) 

Josh Turner must be an alien. He fluidly does great technical covers of virtually any song he tries. But its more than just technical mastery. He seems to get into the vibe, the essence, the flow, the feeling, the intangible gestalt of each song. He doesn't just "cover" a song, it feels like he understands the original energy and essence of the song and the artist and manifests it to reproduce a faithful copy that is vitually as perfect and true to the original as possible. Its like his spirit joyfully and honestly clones original songs into original copies! He is really a very special guy!

has anyone actually tried to do this song? holy hell. you have to have all the musicianship to do it, but also the personality. Kami is perfectly quirky enough to understand the song well and pull it off authentically. amazing job.

You don't see a lot of Joni Mitchell covers because they are so hard to sing, especially songs like this one. As a dedicated fan of the original , spinning the vinyl album repeatedly until every nuance was absorbed, let me just say that your version is a beautiful musical tribute to a true genius singer songwriter. Don' t stress about the incidental tiny mistakes, the energy and artistry are pure Joni - and Josh's opinion might count for a little bit too.

Joni took the road not travelled musically. Yet, somehow the motifs still sound comfortingly familiar despite being utterly original and not tied to anything prior. This is really well done. And not easy. Bravo.

I must admit that I hadn't heard a Joni Mitchell song before this so when I clicked on this video I went in with an open mind and since I have followed your channel (Josh) for about a year or so I had pretty high expectations. (Considering every video/music performance is always top quality and unique). But that roller coaster of emotions this performance put me through is outstanding. Kami your voice is so extraordinary and beautiful and you put me in a trancelike stance the whole way through where my eyes and ears were fixated on what your voice would do next. The way you constantly transitioned your voice from low to high with such grace was amazing. And it couldn't have been easy with very diffrent levels of pace in the lyrics. So amazing. I am in awe. The most humbled applause from a tiny 3rd floor flat in Esbjerg, Denmark. Thank you both for that amazing performace.
