this week's cover is All I Want by Kodaline, requested by my friend Alice :) it's a truly beautiful song and I am becoming much more obsessed with Kodaline atm.
I feel so so lucky to have received so much kind and positive comments from my recent EP Optimist. I absolutely love making music but it requires so much perseverance and self-belief, so sometimes having feedback from others is all you need.

Hope, I discovered this song a year ago...my daughter, age 13 was singing it everyday. I looked up the song by Kodaline. Can I say my preference is your version?!! You wowed me on this song.

Hope, music is the universal language and you the creator of the best of the best. Each piece of music can be interpreted many ways for many people. I am at the Sunset of my Life and I have seen and done it all... So I thought. Then I lost my mother 3 years ago. A woman I called Momma for 72 years. I grieved for some time until some of my memories came back to me. Make a long story short, I had the foresight to do DNA done on myself and my Momma. When it came back I was without a father and a mother I did know. It turns out that an aunt that I watched at 3 years old be buried by the family was my real mother and the impostor was my aunt. Hearing your song tonight brought tears, pain and loneliness to my life and yet it also brought me hope and a smile that soon I will see my real Momma again. Thank you for your therapy.
