phantylia is the bane of challenge runs i swear lol edit: okay here are some tips... phantylia has a few guaranteed aoe hits that will always hit jing yuan. it's around 5 i believe? the biggest tip is to not upgrade your equilibrium past a certain point which people already told you about so that's good. unfortunately you can't gear jing yuan with anything to keep him alive so um.. yeah i'm sorry the only way i can see this being possible is if you go crazy with relic farming and get asta/hanya crazy crit gear. getting phantylia to not hit jing yuan AT ALL aside from the guaranteed hits is all luck so that'll be pretty tough. even then i'm not sure if the trial jing yuan can even survive the few hits that he's forced to take. i'm talking for myself now but i can't really see this being too fun to deal with so if you get tired of it honestly just go ahead and use like march or luocha or someone. if you really want to you can accept a 'punishment' for it later lol. good luck!!!! you got really close..

Some light spoilers since your planning to pull on Robin!! Robin actually works like a dps unit since she does damage for every time your characters attack. So she can be your primary dps. You also get higher eidolons so she can have a cleanse on her ultimates.

At 11:20 about the missions that are permanently lost: if you did the Xianzhou story when they originally came out (on your main account), the whole Sanctus Medicus subplot and the Dan Heng interludes were part of the main story progression, you were forced to do them as you went so that's why you dont remember this weird mechanic. Apparently they got a lot of negative feedback at the time because people didnt like how those side quests derailed the main story's plot, so at some point they separated the Sanctus and Dan Heng quests into this optional side content that you can choose to entirely skip, if you're okay with missing a few jades (and the narrative context they offer). I dont know which one is worse tbh - I remember originally being annoyed at these quests because they were seemingly going nowhere and I wanted to go back to the main story, but when I did this arc again on my alt it was super jarring to have these "do this quest now or perish forever" type of warnings popping up at climatic moments of the main quest too. 😅

I think I have a solution - There's this consumable called Prayer Machine and it heals your characters for 1000 HP at the start of the turn, you can get it from an NPC called Mr. Huo in Aurum Alley - hope this helps! Also good luck on Robin's banner :)

It is very funny that it took you so many runs before considering using your characters as buffers haha. As the the equilibrium level...I would say don't do it. However, if it'll make you unlock the major traces, maybe read what they do? Because Phantyllia will become way stronger and the measly HP bonus Jing Yuan will get will be nullified by the boss' stronger attacks. However, major traces can maybe change things. Possibly. I do feel like you can definitely beat her now though! As long as you overbuff Jing Yuan.

It is 100% worth it to level your equilibrium to 4 but don't go past that. At EQ4 you can get one 5* relic per run, every run of a cavern of corrosion. While your enemies will only gain a few levels. Basically you can nearly double your character's stats (given some grinding) while the enemies only gain a small bit. The set I'd recommend most is Guard of Wuthering Snow. Even just as a 2pc that 8% damage reduction is massive. Since every one of your characters buffs Atk/Dmg/C.Dmg/Speed already, it is worth while to go for some defensive stats on your relics. For Sparkle other than C.Dmg all other offensives stats are pointless. For SU I'd only farm world 3 for the time being. Both sets work well and at EQ4 farming 5* planer sets isn't to bad in world 3. It is worth trying world 5 once though to unlock Abundance Path for SU (you don't have to beat it to unlock the path). On the Loufo near the shop you use Strahls at there is a food cart where you can engage in a short eating contest. From doing that you get the recipe for an Max HP buff food that is a bit better than anything else you can get at this point in the game. You can also get a good atk buff item from the Tea House nearby (limited to one per day but better than other options atm). I hope any of this helps. You're videos inspired me to try this challenge awhile back and it has been fun. I missed Ruan Mei but currently have Bronya, Sparkle, Asta, Hanya and Yukong. I'm currently stuck on a certain Gambler and likely will be until Robin comes out.

I was gonna suggest to actually use the Jing Yuan as hypercarry with your harmonies but that was before I finished watching the video. I still had faith this was possible without it but guess not xD I guess the only way to make Jing Yuan stay alive for longer is consumables, def%, maybe if something heals. Idk which consumables you can actually get, but there is one funny consumable that makes your chars stronger but you are forced to do autobattle, would be fun to try that out if all else fails (should be obtainable in Cloudford).

I think just let Jing Yuan stay on the 1st position and put Tingyun on the 4th position and hope that the curse of Tingyun's taunt works most of her attacks 😂

you should put jingyuan on the first slot or the fourth slot so he takes comparatively less dmg than what he takes here. Also please do not ascend the equilibrium level it'll only make this more difficult😭

I believe Robin will be the best thing for you account, I've seen her do 100 k per hit in her ult!!!!! Her damage is crazy if you build her really well and buff her. Since you're going harmony only, 3 characters buffing her??? Robin is gonna hit like a truck. 100 % Also best of luck getting her!!!!!! I really reccomend going all out for her (maybe even her lightcone?)

For me, I could get phantyllia down to 1% so many times on her third life, but since she does one final attack before dying that always kills Jing Yuan, I had to build Bailu to really beat it.

16:16 i honestly think ur going to HAVE to use him and his skills during the fight. its honestly immpossible to complete otherwise due to not having enough dps, unless u somehow get like e6 robin lol.

I had to beat most of the early game on my Abundance only account with only a Natasha and a Bailu, I came all the way until Something Onto Death before I was stuck and needed Luocha and Gallagher, and nicely the character event that is right now finally gave me the missing Lynx.

I believe the less Equilibrium level you have the likelier you will be able to defeat her. I think I used the Starbucks drink from the girl that gives one per day (near where you exchange the special currency for items) and the helmet that gives like 30% DEF.

You should do the penacony trailblaze mission so you can get harmony trailblazer!

there will be a harmony Trailblazer which does rlly good dmg with bounce abilities hes imaginary btw

I'd say to try to beat it again before raising the equilibrium level. You were so close once, so it might happen again and we're not sure how'd go if you raised it. If you're fully commiting to using Jing Yuan I'd say to switch Bronya to Asta (unless you get Yukong then to her), because since you already have Sparkle there's no real need for her

If you level up your Equilibrium, Phantylia is gonna be stronger too, and it's just gonna be more difficult. Basically you just have to pray for a perfect run where she doesn't hit Jing with any single target attacks (the aoe ones you can't really do anything about). That's how Java did it, at least

Do not upgrade your equilibrium, he may be stronger be a litte bit but phantylia will be stronger by a LOT. It's better to farm for better relic or find better food, good luck!
