While Miriam and Jake were sad to see Tom get voted off (seeing they were deceived by Fiore and Alec), no one was sad to see Alec go.

I'm this is abt the idols, but it's really cool to see the improvement in the production quality of the show over the seasons, seeing these similar scenes back to back really shows it.
Not only is Jake the only character to have 3 idols played on him in Disventure Camp, comparing him to the actual show of Survivor, I believe he's the only player to have multiple different people (as in not Jake) play an idol for him throughout his career. And he didn't get two idols played for him-- bro skipped a level and got three, which matches the levels of people like Rick Devens or Ben from Season 35 who have to basically get handed idols on silver platters. That's nuts. If Jake were a real Survivor player, he would probably go down as one of the best social players of all time and the god of idol plays. As controversial as he is, bro knows how to make alliances with the right people at the right time and the connections he's committed to, even at the cost of a very shaky voting record, have helped him survive as long as he has and could genuinely get him to the finale. Respect.
SERIOUSLY!! Not only that, the votes for Alec come from Connor and Jake, one of which dislikes Riya and likes Alec, and the other who would probably vote her over Alec Point being, Alec was ROBBED AF but that was kinda predictable considering how this season has been
@@TheRanker77grett, jake and connor had a deal, she gave them the totem but they had to vote who she tells them and she told them to vote alec, because 1. he was a threat and 2. grett wanted to keep the drama between connor and riya. he was indeed robbed but grett played the game very well
At least Alec got what he deserved in season 3. Season 1 had him and Fiore orchestrate Tom's elimination by tricking him into saving his boyfriend Jake only to be eliminated because Fiore and Alec voted off Tom. In season 3, Grett is aware of Alec's place and tell Connor and Jake to use the idol. After Connor is aware of it and saves Jake, Alec is eliminated. Unlike Tom (Miriam and Jake were disappointed), no one was sad to see Alec leave.

@@Sheepish1y When I first saw Alec's elimination in DCAS, I thought of it as karma. Season 1 has Alec and Fiore trick Tom into misusing his idol. Now, Grett betrays Alec by having Connor be aware of Alec's plan. While people in Tom's party were sad, hardly anyone cared that Alec was gone.

Not really plot armor if it makes sense, in the Beta Tom undertood why Jake would belive Ellie who Jake considered his closest friend, in season 1 is definitely done for the drama, and in All stars Connor and Jake are allies and the only heros left so it makes sense Connor would use it on Jake......plot armor is only plot armor when it makes no sense.
Besides, it’s not like it even was Connor and Jake’s plan. It was all Grett’s doing, she knew how the votes were gonna go. And she was stating on wanting Alec and Riya gone episodes before. Sure, it was Jake again for the sake of drama (Ally’s gotta be fumming) but in this case it could’ve also been Connor and worked the same way around.
Seeing Alec eliminated was karma for what he and Fiore did to Tom in season 1. Ashley celebrates Fiore's elimination. Tom and Aiden are glad to see Ellie voted off. No one cared if Alec got booted. Riya half-heartedly waved goodbye to Alec, while Grett and Jake looked away.
@@karinelachance6676 For Ellie's elimination, Tess was more worried for Ellie's mental health than be happy just like Tom and Aiden were. Gabby was the only one visibly disappointed about it.

Ngl, I’m kind of missing the point on why Tom was angry at Jake? When the episode first came out I was on Tom’s side, but now seeing the scene again… I definitely think he overreacted 💀 Ellie literally admitted and explain that she was keeping Jake away from him AND he knew Jake and Ellie were becoming close friends. And what’s worse he went out of his way to Ghost him and Miriam all because of a play that Fiore and Alec made after this season. I’m not a Jake defender or anything, but I definitely just realizing Tom was kind of tweaking too 😮💨. I know Jake was somewhat at fault for Tom going home, but once again it was mostly Alec, Fiore, and Ellie manipulating the scene nobody knew that they were trying to nullify the idol. And what takes the cake of it all was that Tom wasn’t even trying to win the game in the first place 😭🙏🏾
Watching Alec's elimination in DCAS was catharsis for what he and Fiore had done to Tom and Jake, given both Tom's season 1 elimination and Alec's All-Star elimination had many parallels. The fandom and I pointed this out.
Tom used his idol on Jake in the canon Season 1 because Tom wasn't aware that Alec and Fiore changed their votes to boot Tom, while Ellie voted for Jake. Jake voted for Tom because he believed Ellie's lies.
Can't tell if it's ironic or not, but the the favorite that Alec caused Connor's first elimination in AS aND Connor caused Alec's elimination is interesting.
Not only that. Alec caused Tom to be eliminated in season 1. In All-Stars, Alec gets eliminated the same way Tom did. The immunity totems were being played on Jake in the final six. While Connor was successful thanks to Grett, Tom failed since it was a part of Fiore and Alec's trap.
To be fair, Tom did not know that Alec and Fiore changed their votes. Jake voted for Tom because Jake was under Ellie's assumption that Tom was cheating on him for another "boyfriend". This was enough for Jake to get mad at Tom and vote for him that night. No wonder why Alec, Ellie, and Fiore are on the Naughty list for Christmas.
Beta, Jake was in actual danger. Remake, Fiore and Alec staged this as the evil duo voted for Tom, while Ellie voted for Jake. Jake voted for Tom under Ellie's assumption of Tom cheating on Jake.
I saw a leaked OG elimination order for the season, and Tess and Ashley were going to be finalists with another person, while Jake is eliminated at episode 9 or 10.
Wait i have a question how did tom get 3 votes if Miriam and tom voted fiore Fiore and alec voted tom and ellievotes jake did jake vote tom? Or did a ghost vote?
