@@TeXasDadBod I've toured plenty of Toll Brothers. That "$800k" is base.....base...base. every model home has a spec built sheet posted that showed the price of all the options in that particular model home. Before landscaping and backyard, you'll find nothing less then $1.4

It says 880 not 800 lol and you have to be kidding me for a 1/4 acer here in the desert your crazy. You can go buy your self an 1 acer a couple of miles away and build for less than half. Don't be dumb people if your from el paso.

@@travelingteslastyle765 it really depending on your area. $800 in the Bay Area from the Toll Brothers can you no bigger then 2300 sq.ft on a .2 acre lot with very standard "upgrades". I've toured Danville, Ca., nothing less then $1.7 for a base spec, some already spec going for $2.6. That take to Houston or Chicago and you are looking at $600-$800 nicely upgraded on large lots.

Agreed it is odd but my best guess of the designers thought process. The wall creates privacy for the family while in the family room and also the wall reduces the ambient light off the front door.

This is a beautiful home, I have a couple of aunts that live in El Paso, Texas. They keep telling me to buy a house out there. I live in California, and I was looking in Palm Springs which also has nice houses, but they are priced really high in the desert. The only thing it gets hot to 110 to120 degrees during the summertime, so you will need a pool. I looked in Las Cruces, New Mexico but El Paso you can get more for the price. I remember going to Texas when I was a kid and Las Cruces was always beautiful, with the Origan mountains in the background. It surprised me how much Las Cruces has grown. I have a 4 bedroom and 3 bath home, I bought in 1983 for $169,000 now it is worth $1.2 million. There are some houses for sale and the one across the street just sold for $1.4 million with a pool and has same floor plan.

Those are called inset cabinetry. Pretty much the most difficult to make since both the doors / drawer fronts and the frames have to be absolutely perfectly done in all dimensions for it to look right and come out flush.

In Vancouver Canada, this property could be a whooping 25 million or more ,depending on which location, especially if you add a large swimming pool , architectural garden landscape, lots of trees and near the beach or waterfront location and make it a 5 car garage! 😊🙃 This house is fabulously well thought of Architectural design with all its details!👍👍

Its only too much if you do everything all at once though. You can always delegate the work to others in your family. Your wife/gf can take care of half of the house, while you take care of the other half. And then do the yard work on another day. Spread the work over 3 days every week and you can comfortably enjoy your suburban living.

I’ve GOT to get out of Los Angeles. I only have 2070 sq ft with no upgrades from the original 1975 build and it’s valued more than this amazing palace. Yes, that’s good for me as a homeowner but I can’t afford to move into a bigger place!

Beautiful home. Some great ideas they employed. The only thing I do not like is the cookie cutter neighborhood with tiny yards. This house would be so beautiful on a nice piece of land with a view. To each his own. I just don't want to look out my window and see a sea of homes. Great construction you can tell. Love the look of these farmhouses.
