You're the reason I started custom rigging for my scenes. The creative effort you put into your productions combined with new technology is just some next level advice. Thank you!
Thank you, Adam! I wanted to quit using Gimbals after a couple of years of working with the Ronin-M, but your Tilta Float video changed my mind and convinced me of buying a RS2, since it's so versatile and I love it so far. This one is the icing on the cake! All I need now is the Float to be actually shipped out.
All of your RS2 ecosystem videos have been great so far but this is truly next level forward thinking!!! This is FANTASTIC and your innovation is inspiring.
@@BestboyAdam True that, I thought the phone control was a gimmick because it was so jerky, I never thought to mount the phone to a fluid head tripod. Game-changer!
Wow this was awesome man! So many creative ways to use the DJI RS2! The last sequence of basketball was INSANE! Thanks so much for sharing this video. Subscribed and looking forward to see more of RS2 creative utilizations!
As someone with the same camera you are using here, and a Weebil S - you are so creative that it makes me look like a complete amateur. Thank you for sharing these fantastic ideas with us mere mortals! Also, lovely to see your family in this video. It's great that you get to work together. I wish you all the best!
Thank you! you inspired me to try new things with my Ronin. Also will like to share this quote that feel it fits here "Never let perfect be the enemy of good enough"
Been finding so much inspiration in your videos! Just received my RS3 Pro and thinking about building the bike rig from your other video for an upcoming short, using a Specialized E-bike. Thank you, Adam!
Just got my RS2 and this is exactly what I needed to see....thanks for the inspiration to get a little creative. Was thinking OneWheel XR but clearly plenty of other unique setups can be done if you put your mind to it!
You are a pure inspiration and motivation! Thank you so much for your extremly valuable inputs. What about your monopod, which one do you use? All the best and thank you so much!
ok, you deserve more subs than most of popular vloggers on YT, you are so awesome, sharingso muxh details and such great informations, its really rare! thank you, youre brilliant!
Thank you so much! This is an absolutely brilliant piece! So much amazing creativity. I’m watching this again and again because as I see the inventive ways you use the RS2 it sparks off so many possibilities in my mind. Great observation about the paradox of choice-so true!
What do you use to connect the Manfrotto Clamp to the monopod. Need something that screws onto it with a stud I assume. Recommendations from anyone? Great video and inventive uses!
Those shots... damn. You have some serious talent. When I get to work I'm raiding the studio warehouse for some rigging pipe, clamps and a pulley kit to see if I can duplicate some of what you did.
Hi Adam, great video and greetings from Miami, couple of silly questions, how did you attached the Manfrotto clamp to the Monopod? And last, the clamps to the tripod? Thank you for making great videos.
Ja Be, I mounted the manfrotto 035 clamp to the monopod using a Manfrotto 234RC head, so I can adjust the angle of the clamp. And to mount the monopod to the tripod, I used 30mm clamps and simply attached them to the tripod plate 😀

I love your silly questions cause I had the sames + some mores like how to attache the camera plate to the superclamp ? I guess something like a 338 manfrotto spigot would do since it has 3/8 or 1/4 female thread and the other side could go inside the superclamp socket ? Also, those 30mm clamps all over look nice but I don’t get how it is attaches to plates or ronin bottom since it’s M8,M10 and so on kind of thread vs 1/4 and 3/8 camera threads.
If you get some nice gooey double sided tape you can put the sensor down low right at the front of the mounting plate, paired with a few right angle type C cords and you'd barely know it was there.
Your content is amazing! I love how you show each detail, with each different scenario using all possible gimbal movements. It is amazing how many things you can do to transform your steadicam/gimbal. I would like to see a vid about your camera gear, more specifically your black magic camera, explaining why did you bought it, when/how/where do you use it, how to focus, how do you use it in combination with the gimbal, etc. I am interested to see your opinion, giving me the chance to learn more and I will buy one bmppc one day for sure Keep it up and happy new year!
Great video and awesome inspirations! Could you make a tutorial on how you rig the camera with the cage, the Focus 3d etc and you make it work on the RS2? Thanks you!
@@IAmShaneBlack really the only things you lose with the S are onboard activetrack and 3D focus. Throw a Raveneye on there and you can still do a lot of very creative stuff.
Great videos! I keep watching the push in / pull out section trying to understand how all the pieces fit together. I've got most of it, but I'm still not sure about the best approach to setup the counterweight.
The last part using the rope to shoot is Unbelievable! I always want to know how they do the same thing in football court. So the basic mechanic theory is the same. Right?
Hi Adam great stuff, really creative, wish I had a crew like yours. I have a question regarding how you mounted your BMPCC6K? Did you have to remove the cage? I bought the extendable base for the RS2 and the weight actually slightly bends it and the camera doesn’t sit level. Also to mount focus motor the camera is too low to use any of the pieces as the offset doesn’t match as the camera hits the gimbal on the side. It’s been a bit of an ordeal.
The 3D focus add on uses LiDAR to command the follow focus motor, so basically it adds autofocus to manual lenses, I have some '60s glass with pin sharp autofocus thanks to this system.
Widzę że prawdopodobnie jesteś z trójmiasta, czyli blisko mnie :D Zainspirowałeś mnie do próbowania czegoś więcej niż zwykłego chodzenia z gimbalem :D Otworzyłeś mi umysł. Chciałbym kiedyś widzieć na żywo Twoją pracę na planie, może jakieś warsztaty? :)
