Thank God I ran across this video between sobs. As an old Boomer who knows nothing & had no one to show me how to design my own website from scratch, url & all, I somehow glided a whole year sans bot attacks. After spending hours stopping then rewinding what you said to figure out how to enact almost all these suggestions, I had 0 login attempts in the last 24 hours. And TY for the 2-factor authentication warning, steered clear of that. Yay.
I have been using this plugin for years. Imran is correct, it takes a while to do all the settings, but then you can export the settings, and then import them on any new websites you create. It only takes about 30 seconds to configure a new website. After installing this plugin + WordFence, I have had zero hacker issues. Had plenty of issues before installing these plugins. Thanks, Imran for a great video. Imran, the highest I could get my Strength score was 325, but that's worked out great for me.
Thanks for this video. I've been not feeling confident about using Wordfence or iThemes to my clients, I love the amount of settings where you can really dig into the stuff that you want to protect without just having a company forcing you to trust that they're doing all these extra things. This is a game changer.

Rather use the free WordFence 2FA Plugin. Never had any issues with it in about 5years. Also , don't change your wp-login location, it's not best practise (according to WordFence anyway) and any site can be scanned using a dead-link checker to find your actual login page. :)

I didn't see anything specific about that in this plugin, is that handled by the PHP Firewall setting? Also, you mentioned you didn't enable the XML firewall setting because there was a warning. I am following a checklist of things to do before launching my website and one of them is installing Yoast SEO (recommended). Now, I am not installing that one as I preferred this one instead but in one of the Yoast SEO features is to add social share images. Does All in One WP Security have that feature? If not, is that necessary? 🤔

Hi, thanks for the video, it was really helpful. Please can you advise what steps to take if I cannot complete the WP Directory and file permissions. I can only do two of the 10 and get the error message "Unable to change permissions for /volume1/web/wordpress/XXXXX" for wordpress, wp-includes, index.php, js, themes/plugins/wp-admin and wp-content. I self host on a Synology NAS. Thanks in advance

I have one question, on one of my sites, I have a message that there has been a file change, with a red warning. (php file) I don't see anywhere how I can repair this file, or delete the injected piece of malware code. Is that possible with the free version of the AIOWP security plugin, or do you need to get the premium version for that ? I'd be very grateful for your advice on this. Thanks a lot for all your work!
Sorry to hear about that issue. You won't need the premium version. Best to check with your host provider, and try loading a backup prior to getting that warning.
Hi, i have a question. When i put menu and icons on elementor they in one position on preview( close to side) , but if i open web site in browser all move to the middle =( section size 1200, heater also 1200. i tried to do no scrolling website) looks like elementor shows smaller size than browser
@@websquadron so i fixed, in preview website looks narrow than in live. Problem is on browser, opera gx has default 125% zoom. Thats why website looks wider than on preview. i put 100% zoom and all now normal, omg i spend 2 days to find issue.
@@websquadron wherever i have one more question, when i hide elementor menu i see everything, but when open back i can work just 95% of screen i mean i cant see like 50 px from sides only when i hide menu, but if i hide i cant edith)
