As far as we're aware this was a world first for DST! The highlight was created on the 26th of January 2021 and was originally broadcast live on Twitch.
We had 4 attackers who were all playing as Wolfgang, mighty with volt goat jelly and then 4 defenders who constantly spammed ice staff attacks to make sure that the Crab King couldn't pull off any substantial attacks. As you can see by the speed in which is was done it's all about the prep work you do before the fight.
Technically you can do a version of the Crab King with just pearls which would be harder but the only way to access it is through exploits. Edited As pointed out, technically you can fight a harder version without exploits if you plug in the pearl then use iridescent gems for the other slots, so I've retitled the video from hardest to simply hard.

Now do 9 pearls. It's possible with commands and the boss has over half a million HP when you do that :D

No, its posible without comands (you can drown pearl to reset her quests) , i and my friends killed him with shadow bisops on surviwal , without any comands, darthmauve recorded it

@@14dyingstars you should use 2 gates at corner of her island and push her on boat and then skin boat, you can also use docks and gunpowder

I actually made some edits to this because the music wasn't there on stream but it seems I have accidently uploaded the direct from Twitch highlight. I will see if I can find the edited version or if I can change this one because it's a bit weird without the music.

This isn't the hardest. You can put 8 iridescent gems and last one with Pearl's Pearl. Iridescent Gems count as 1 of each color gems. Pearl's Pearl count as 3 of each color gems.

Four fully powered Wolfgang's are really strong for sure but the people at the back making sure the Crab King couldn't attack very efficiently are what really make the fight possible. You can even make those people with the staff Wes if you want too!

@Unorthodogg Yeah, notice them, good thinking! But you didnt use the pearl so It might not be the hardest form? I know that pearl is counting as 3 of each gem. Great fight still.

@@ibrahimozturk0671 Yeah, it did occur to me afterwards that the pearl would technically make it harder although you can only obtain it once without exploits and we already had done it in this world plus I'm not sure it would have made too much of a difference aside from a few seconds in time perhaps. You are completely correct though. I also learned that you can also drown the Crabby Hermit and do her quest again to eventually gain enough pearls to do the fight with them alone. The only problem with this is it's technically an exploit, the gems don't even appear bar the middle one, and the fight is seemingly impossible as the Crab King has over 500k health and can instanstly freeze you. Perhaps something to try out one day though!

The normal version of the boss is beatable solo for sure. I haven't actually tried The all iridescent version solo but I'm pretty sure you're correct. The all pearl version is impossible as far as I'm aware regardless of how many people you have though if you want the biggest challenge!
