Noah Baker, an 18 year old highschooler experiences unsettling occurrences while house-sitting for a media personality, little did he know what was about to unfold that night. Fears to Fathom is an episodic psychological horror game where each episode unveils a short story narrated by the ones who survived. I can tell that the developers put more effort in this Episode of the series, because the jumpscares in this game managed to be scarier and more unnerving than the ones in Fears to Fathom - Home Alone and Fears to Fathom - Norwood Hitchhike. Cara's run cycle is especially eerie. There's something about her animations that are extremely unsettling.

Yeah, she is limping since she is under the influence, it really makes it eerie. Plus she is also scary when she just walks around on the cameras because her legs are very long.

Oh… I just realised I narrowly avoided death when I went to check on the messed up studio room during my first playthrough. It’s a good thing I only close doors as I’m LEAVING the room. It’s kinda cool that the developer actually made Cara legitimately stalk you inside the house if you are not vigilant with the cameras.

The sheer amount of jumpscare spots and animations for ONE character that this game has, honestly this is an INSANE upgrade from the last one, you get more freedom, there's better storytelling, you have skills and the camera system is just a beauty, i'll check out chapter 4 but geez this one was good, the only one that had me shivering my timbers for a sec for sure

Those "true events/true stories" have no documented and verifiable sources and come from stories frequently shared on Reddit with minor variations. 95% chance they're entirely made up - 5% chance they are loosely based on slightly stressful events but greatly exaggerated

@@ProtoMarcus I agree that the stories have no verifiable evidence that proved the exact events with the exact people in the games actually happened at some point, however, I do think they are based on things that COULD happen, and that's what's scary about them. People do have home break-ins, people can get stuck at creepy motels in the middle of nowhere, a crazed ex-girlfriend on meth could attempt to kill you, and I don't know how many cults are out in the woods on camp grounds, but same kind of deal, you could still get killed in the woods I suppose, by an animal or person. I think the Fears to Fathom games make up characters and locations to be at least similar to things that have happened to people, or could happen to anyone. And even if these things wouldn't realistically happen to you, they're still creepy to think about.

Fun facts: Cara is the only woman bot in the game, if you notice it looks like Cara is limping, meaning she may got hurt, also maybe she can only walk normally, in her running maybe she can't run normally bcuz it can Hurt or something, and also if you hide in the place next to the room and stay there without escaping, Cara will Turn back and spot you, and then she will chase you an kill you

You haven't specified a screamer yet, when we open the pizza deliverer, we don't look in his direction and our camera turns to the deliverer and a loud sound is played. And also you didn't specify the screamer when we are in the laundry room, but the door is open. By the way, I found an interesting bug. At the moment when we need to do homework (the moment with the oven), we click on the computer and while the blackout is going on, we click on homework. And we can look into the cameras and do our job at the same time. I advise you to look into the camera, where there is an oven, there is the most interesting

When you briefly see her at the convenience store (if you’re fast enough), she’s walking normally. It’s implied that Zeke bit her leg when she went round the back to cut the power which is why, in my play through at least, I found him barking like mad near the power breaker.

By the way, at one point the TV says "I had been kidnapped by Mr Carson for 37 days and was forced to do math" or something. What is up with that?

That was pretty much my point. During the game, the fear for me was of the unknown. I knew something was out there to get me but where and what? Once I knew it was a skinny girl limping around, I was like come on Noah... Just kick her and overpower her. I think the idea was probably that he was a small nerdy guy and panic made him totally useless or something but it definitely made the game bad for me. Shame because the setting and ambiance are golden.

When you find Cara on the side of the house at the start of your video, why is she limping? And at that point, she didn't even take the knife yet so how is she even able to kill you? On the street/front yard of the house no less. Noah has to be the biggest p**sy ever lmao The ambience and setting of this game are great but not the characters unfortunately.

I full fledged game with this scenario would be amazing. A progression with multiple endings, a better killer, different possible random events and traps, phone calls etc. The setting is flawless and it a great foundation for something bigger.

@@taluca8474 Names are almost definitely fake in this, when people post these kinds of stories whether they're real or fake they usually change names on purpose. Though I also doubt this happened. Might have been colorized, at least.
