I understand that people don’t like springtrap’s jumpscare, but after all, he is purple guy in a bulky costume, so I think he can’t jump at your face from like 30 feet away.

So basically, everyone except spring trap wishes to mess with you, but springtrap wants to actually kill you.

Ngl ppl should appreciate Scott's creativity at making springtrap's jumpscare, because it actually make sense you see william afton died in the spring bonnie suit and his skin is rotting away, his corpse remains after 30 years so he would be entirely weak after the pain he got 30 years ago so he can't actually jump at you and scare you

Just for the people who thinks that Springtrap’s jump scares are cheap: He is a human corpse. That is how he walks. He cannot do the same jump scare like the others. But, he does look creepy, even with those human organs in his suit. He is like a zombie. Also, he is in a spring lock suit and he strolls like an actual serial killer, since he is William Afton aka The Purple Guy.

I like how Springtrap just casually walks up to the player, as if to ask how our day was. It's funny how non-threatening the animation is compared to the other animatronics' jumpscares. I know Springtrap is essentially a human corpse in a suit, and that would limit his mobility. But, they could've made his animation a _little_ more intimidating.

i mean to be fair, the sound is 90% of the effect on a jumpscare. but i remember being even more scared in games at silent jumpscares. like where you turn around and something is just all up in your face, completely silent

The freakiest ones to me are phantom mangle and phantom puppet.

I love how springtrap's jumpscare is just "hey dude did you eat my cookies?"

For a child murderer, Springtrap looks very unthreatening...

Springtrap's jumpscare is unique in that he's one of the few enemies that don't jump at or attack the player. He sort of just walks in. As a kid when the game first came out, I used to interpret that hesitation as the purple guy not wanting to kill the player, but wanting their help, because they're trapped and in pain in the spring lock suit. The player would see the man fused inside the animatronic and maybe send them to the hospital, and the game over isn't from the player dying, but from purple guy escaping the suit.

I feel Springtrap's jump scares are scary because of the sheer unknown of what exactly does he do to the player because the static comes before anything else happens and we just get "Game Over" with no clue as to what happens. The two previous games make it clear if the animatronics get you they will stuff you into a suit and this is shown in the previous game over screens. Also some of the previous jump scares depict them grabbing or biting the player before they are taken and stuffed into the suit. But with Springtrap we just don't know what exactly he does to the player if he catches you so your left with your brain and imagination to fill in the terrifying rest of what possibly happens.

The phantom ones are absolutely terrifying, this is why fnaf 3 is probably my favorite fnaf game. Super underrated

Springtrap doesn't need a flashy jumpscare because his mere presence and backstory speak for themselves. I can't stand the sight of him.

Ahh, Springtrap has mastered that art of killing somebody by just staring at them. Truly a master of the arts.

I think Springtrap's jumpscare is the scariest, is because you know what's going to hsppen, and you can't prevent it. There's no way to escape the jumpscare. It's the uneasy feeling at the bottom of my stomach as you wait for him to come closer. But that's just my opinion.

Idk why everyone is saying that Springtrap’s jumpscare isn’t as good as the others, I personally always feel a shock when I see his jumpscare and I’d argue that it’s even more freightening than others.

Springtrap has one of the best jumpscares. All of the other animatronics are puppets controlled by spirits, they attack on sight because they are blind souls, they use ruse, and tactics, but knowing the story, you end up feeling sorry for them as they certainly take blind rage upon anyone coming their way. It's panic and chaos, but not targeted hate. Springtrap is utter terror on the other way. Maniac psycho in eternal suffering, strapped on a withered suit, being a withered corpse, coming to get vengeance. Everything in him makes me sick to the core - The Spring Bonnie suit making him smile, the wide bloodshot white eyes, the odor that must be following him, and, just, William Afton. He doesn't need to jump onto your face like the other animatronics. Having this guy about 10 meters near me would be enough to cause me a heart attack. Contrarily to all the others - You can't really fend him off. He is coming. You are exposed. And you *perfectly* knows what he wants.

I almost died of a heart attack in the first jumpscare, and I don't understand why, I was ready this time it affected me lmao 💀😭

Everyone talks about how bad or good is the Springtrap jumpscare But nobody talks of fast he runs

For a murderer, Springtrap looks oddly friendly (though it's probably just the Bonnie outfit) Though that just makes it worse that this happy smiling fellow is about to murder you.

Springtrap has one of the best Jumpscares in my opinion

Springtrap's much more calm jumpscares make sense. He's not as energetic or agile as the proper animatronics which are controlled by children. His suit is a bulky springlock version, filled by a rotting corpse. And the spirit controlling it was that of an experienced murderer. He does the killing calmly, savoring every moment of it. He doesn't jump around or lunge at his victims. He stalks them and takes them out silently without attracting any outside attention. The way he moves around Fazbear's Fright relfects this well. He's almost always blending into the surroundings, making him only partially visible.

Fun fact: In spring traps jumpscare, you can hear a sort of whistling, and that is supposed to be him screaming for help, but he is unable to because during the springlock-failure, the metal pierced his neck and severed his vocal cords, so he couldn’t talk at all.

Phantom Foxy's is the scariest for me, since he jumps at you, and I love Springtrap's jumpscare

springtrap has the best jumpscare 100% theres a rotting corpse in there, its not a full fledged animatronic that can jump at you. personally it gives me a more eerie feeling when i see it

The first one is honestly kind of scary just because Springtrap with his eyelid things totally raised up actually looks terrifying as hell. It's just when you see his eyelid features, he doesn't look nearly as creepy lol.

The reason springtraps jumpscare is bad is because hes been sitting in a room for 3 decades,in a rotting corpse with springlocks in his skin slowly becoming his bones,alot if you see when his jumpscare happens,youll see that his eyelids are half way,but when theres a jumpscare,his eyelids arent visabil,thats because you play as Michael Afton,Michael Afton is William aftons son,William hasnt seen Michael in 30 years so thats why his eyelids do that
