For the mentor quest: Put on Hercule, and remove his evasive. He literally won't be able to fight back and you can basically get a free win. Edit: For the record, you don't really have to remove the evasive. The real point is that since Hercule is the only character in the game who can't snap-vanish, his AI doesn't know what to do when you get him in an infinite combo. He will eventually evasive, but it's not that hard to just get him in another infinite.

To anyone reading this, please make your mentor someone with kamehameha and use tien's super soul that nullifies *KAMEHAMEHA* damage. You'll actually take so much less damage. This makes everything easier. I also found Emperor's blast a great move. Other than that, use your best move set

I got the luckiest RNG, I got everything on the first try, the most times I had to do it was 2

for timespace impact, once you freeze them in the bubble, before the 2nd hit you have to lock off quickly then the opponent will be frozen in that bubble and you can use any attack you like. dimps dosent explain this to you

Here's the one issue with this tournament event, initially when the trailer released it was shown that this tournament event would be accessible "offline", meaning that even with no Ps4 plus membership sub. you'd be able to unlock this supposedly "free content" for yourself but you see here's where the issue occurs. Firstly and currently I and many other's have been waiting patiently for this event to show up "offline" but nothing appears, no indication on the map, no notification letting us know about the event, nothing. Now I'm not too sure on how the servers are meant to work but people have been saying it's due to the servers not working properly, that could be one possibility but here's where I stand on the matter hear me out. They implied that "all content within this update to be deemed free." Meaning no sort of currency or cash is needed to get access to the content in this event, however that's not the case anymore and I'll point out why. People who do in fact have been able to get access to this tournament have ps4 membership subscription, meaning they can connect to the Xenoverse Server with no issues at all but wait... ps4 plus m.s cost money, and to get access to this event you need something that once again "cost money." to me this is what I call false advertising. But I'm not done yet, the same thing applies with the outfits. Cheelai's outfit\broly armor (upper) & wig/Spkot's outfit, custom mentors. They just so happen to be raid rewards which dare I say again you need ps4 membership sub. (Which cost money) to do raids. I know in the trailer it was said that they plan to put some content in future upcoming raids but man were they lying when they said everything was "free." Same can probably be said on xbox as well. Way to bait dimps and bandai namco. Skot's outfit & skills, broly's armor (upper) & cheelai outfit , skot tournament event, custom mentors < ps4 plus membership < money.

It was a hassle getting her unlocked smh. Of course Dimps would do something like that. I only want one of her skills though. RNG is really terrible.

I hated doing the tournament, I’m kinda shit at the game so it takes me a lot of effort just to complete it, and I’m on my third tournament and the game just won’t give me the moves 😥😭

Quick note! Kaioken blue goku in the fight will get super armor when using supers and ultimates! Also, cheesing with cheap ultimate damage with always (not when stamina broken) make goku drop out of it and he with counter either by braking your stamina or countering with warp kamehameha. Goku's ultimate will start doing extra damage and braking stamina easier when he goes super saiyan... It get's stronger on each transformation. It's a really good anti cheese that will 100% kill you if you going up against kaioken blue.

Not gonna lie, the fight with goku(Semifinal Showdown) is very satisfying to me. It a least fills fair to play compared to unbalanced quests giving the enemy states that a mode would have. It's worse when you play those quest on multiplayer and there states is doubled literally making them get a kill off of 4 to 5 hit.

I hope any new free characters they add are added like this. This tournament was so fun.

She's not available anymore. So how do I get her back. I unlocked the character, but didn't unlock the clothes or the moves which is some bullshit. So anyone know how I can get her back?

To the people trying to get time space impact: So a easy way to get it is too equip these moves Super Attacks: it doesn't matter but you do need burst charge because the AI will not let you charge with any other charge Ultimate attacks: You need to equip emporor's death beam and warp kamehameha Also put on a good QQ Bang and put on the super soul power it's a lot of power it's great Tips: grab 3 times spam warp kamehameha or emperor's death beam and you should be good with the battles Now if you dont get it keep trying that's how I got the move

If your Xenoverse 1 hero is a Earthling he/she will use Potential unleashed. So no flying nimbus

If u don’t lock on an enemy with time space impact it freezes ur opponent in time and they can’t get out for a LONGGGGGGGGGG ass time.

For her to be the Supreme Kai or Time they made her moves really unique and somewhat Op

Dude the majin transformation may be op now. You regen stamina, even while fighting. And it's not slow. It's actually fas as hell.

Nah, I’m pretty sure it’s your instructor that appears, the only reason majuub appeared is cuz there is a whole other quest about fighting goku. I recommend just picking kid gohan when you go into this.

If you lock off, and hit your enemy with Timespace Impact, they’re completely stuck there, and you can use other attacks.

The super soul that nullifies kamehameha damage does wonders against the goku mission

God breaker is extremely useful for doing the tournament because the ai just keep flying into it and it does alot of damage

Hopefully you don't think I'm weird for this but I actually think the Supreme Kai of time is really really cute also I got all the skills my first try except for the two ultimates on the final stage

I've done the tournament 3 times and i always fought against my mentors also i like the new tournament

That Xeno Trunks fight was surprisingly difficult for me. I didn’t expect him to have Super Kamehameha at ALL, makes sense tho since Xeno Trunks can use it in the manga

Timespace impact is VERY good to combo off any move that knocks back. Ive been using it with knockback combos, into focus flash and then impact for pretty great damage on stamina breaks.

My RNG for the finale was a pain, I was doing it over and over for 6 hours just to get the last skill and it was a pain how strong my xenoverse 1 CAC was she gets me down to half my health before I fight the SKoT 🤦🏻‍♂️

I've never seen an event going on on xenoverse 2. Do I have to wait for the next tournament or whatever to pop up? Or could it be available after I finish the lv 85, lv 95, and the extra story quests? I'm confused on how to unlock it

I played this thing through my switch lite and now gotta redo this again for my Xbox character list. 3hr 35 minutes it took me to beat and achieve all these moves sets once. Props to Steedoj for the little sneak in the system in getting ultra instinct move set so thanks for that it really helped a lot.

I can confirm that You can attack someone while they are restricted in time space impact

If you have godly chronos cannon active and the enemy uses a vanhish you can shoot it and the bullet will go backwards and hit them, it works cool in every shape and form.

Also with the exception of Sayians and the Frieza Race, other races get potential unleashed.

Yeah, about Timespace Impact, i believe the freezing effect lasts for the entire duration of the ultimate's animation, if not longer, even if the user gets stamina broken. You can throw basic attacks, super attacks, the only thing that will get the opponent out of it is a grab. So basically, it's one of those Ultimates where you gotta punish the one using it properly, or else you'll be the one getting punished.

It took me a full 7 hours just to get the moves and artworks. I was only motivated because music, free dlc, something to do and I now gotta keep up the game if I want the other stuff.

I got all the moves within an hour. Now all I'm waiting for is this mysterious 9th skill to be announced since it's clearly not surging spirit

The 4 Chronos Cannon shots are just quickfire Perfect Shots

Namekians and Majins turn Potential Unleashed

My Female Majin went Potential Unleashed. They also swapped all of her moves from the Broly moves I originally had on her to default Majin moves.

Since you always fight Goku later on the tournament, that's surely the reason why you fight Majuub instead.

People were saying her model was backported from xv3, hence why it’s so crisp

After a stamina break (and maybe a super soul to extend that stamina recovery duration and if you encounter one with hella stamina)... Critical Upper, Flash Skewer, Holy Inscription, Assault Vanish, 7 Strike Combo, Justice Combination.

You can make a giant namekian AI by taking your Namekian CaC, going in photo mode, and switching characterd after awakening. Then just put on AI (Super Hard)

Still not playing xenoverse again, but man they are starting to make it tough

Guys just use counter attacks and a counter ultimate and you're gonna end without being touched, its so easy

Some tips im sure a lot knew but worth wasting a min -Mentor fights I’d recommend picking fellas that won’t be tricky to manage like Raditz or Zarbon for example since they won’t have access to any transformations and aren’t so dangerous skill and attribute wise compared to fellas like Vegeta or Uub -If ya picked a Namekian as the Toki Hero (xv1 hero p much) that fella will use Potential Unleashed or at least in my case, as long as you get a good rhythm going they shouldn’t be too bothersome tho its best to finish any namekian one as fast as ya can once regen kicks in -Probably the more opinionated one here but honestly Tien’s super soul is pretty perfect for Goku since a good deal of his Ultimates and combo ending attacks are gonna be well, a Kamehameha. And that just makes any attack of that type deal no damage. Plus if needed for a last stretch it grants Super Armor when Limit Burst’d but ay I suggest not bursting it unless dire and such.

The evasive cancels out ki based attacks, so that's pretty sick. I just use it cause it's pretty, tbh.

Holy inscription is literally one of the most broken moves in the game rn simply because of that FUCKING DAMAGE

Holy inscription is great for extending combos so it is actually one of the better ones from my experience.

Honestly, the Conton City Tournament wasn't too difficult but it isn't easy either...and this is coming from a casual player who is only decent at the game. Goku and the 1v6 battle were the only parts of the tourney that gave me trouble. Goku is tough, obviously, and that Instant Transmission Kamehameha is troublesome. I have never been able to break his guard when he uses it (I tried many times and always failed) so I just block it now. The 1v6 fight is not too difficult but of course its strength in numbers (and multiple opponents usually give me trouble). The 2 things that annoy me when dealing with 2 or more opponents is 1) I always get shot by the others I'm not locked onto and 2) immediately after defeating one of them, their ally dashes towards me and slams into me, never giving me any time to react to their cheap shot. As for the movesets, I thought it would be easy getting them all since I got Holy Inscription on my 2nd attempt but have been trying to get Kairos Cannon for almost an hour. That's why I'm here, I thought I was doing something wrong. I thought I needed to do something specific like using Holy Inscription to defeat Goten and both Trunks and then Kairos Cannon on the mentor, and so on and so forth. Glad to know its just an RNG thing but its still tiresome when it takes an hour.

The prelims would have been better than the rest of the tournament if the AI was fighting each other instead of u having to fight all 6 Anybody agree?🤷🏾‍♂️

U can use timespace impact multiple times if u have the ki for it

You can make Hercule your mentor, so that it would Super Easy to win the match.

When opponent uses Warp Kamehameha. use forward step vanish just the moment he teleport. Trust me, if your timing is good, you will dodge every single time.

when the hero in the final is powered if he is a majin he doesen't transform but he just gets stronger, I think it is the same thing with namekians and humans

I have Bardock and he had full green bard took out a bar of health with each ult, i almost died several times and Bardock did kill me at one point.

I had some really bad rng in this as well. I had to do the first quest 23 times before the skill dropped for me.

My ass died so many times on Goku that’s I just completely the shit and closed out the game

Hey steed, I got stamina broke after I used the time stop ult, it cancelled the attack but still had them frozen. You can rack up damage during the stun.

I just kept good breaker and shadow crusher cuz of them random ultimates and they made it easy claps
