The best part is how these “tough guys” swear and chuck bottles at other “fans”, but when a police horse bumps into one of them they’re all hard done by and shouting “oi, you bastard, I’ve got that on camera”.
Every time I see this video and see that gentleman get hit by the cop it frustrates me because he showed no intent of any harm to anyone but the copper still hit him. I really hope this clip has been reviewed by the police force even though it was years ago
wednesday boys are all good, was up at the Kop end alone in 70´s when Tony Towner got sent off, good blokes and never had a problem, met some wednesday in a pub near the station and they took me in, great blokes gotta say, we lost 2-0 that evening, solid blokes wednesday fans
if you want to see Police brutality then check out the Ajax v Celtic video , plain clothes Amsterdam cops dressed as casuals kicking fuck out of fans for no reason , however one of the fascist Cops (the most evil one) gets cornered and gets the total shit kicked out of him! what goes around,,,,,ACAB Leeds Utd where a MASSIVE club back in the day and still have a HUGE fanbase.., much respect from a Celtic Fan
Whenever Leeds come down OB escort them to a little council estate where they can mug grannies and assault kids to their hearts content and OKs bill do nothing
Update on the original video, The FSF were in contact with me and said that this has been shown to the Met, the FA and Millwall. Unfortunately the man who was hit around 40 seconds in has refrained to come forward.
Copper on horse.. Had it been the other way round...! Remember visiting the "old den" with Leeds back in the day... Simod cup early 80's I think bit fruity as always.Being from S.London myself never missed a London game for many years.Back in the day all grounds had a mob/firm even teams like Norwich away.. Some like Millwall were always a top firm,I can't lie. Week in week out it was generally like that 70's,80's and 90's. Good memories of "sticking together".Many friendships made and still meet up.Same with all the various clubs. Those were the days lads. M.O.T.
My first game was late 85, and the Simod Cup was still going then (shittest named cup ever) And as you say it was a bit different back then to say the least. Without fail there would be a load of lads staying behind after the game at ER, thousands for the bigger clubs. We beat Millwall at home in one of my first games, and as a young lad it was carnage to watch a few thousand mental cases all trying to kill each other. The Wall lads looked like a right bunch of nasty cunts, and did everything they could to get stuck in, they were locked in for yonks, and more OB there than any game before probably. I saw a massive Wall lad with his arms stretched out singing no one likes us get sparked out mid song, care of a half house brick smashing into his head lol. Randomly ended up living within earshot of the New Den for about seven years up until we moved a few months ago. Was a bit nervous at first, my local Spoons, Surrey Docks even closes when Leeds play at Millwall, but it was sound, no one gave a fuck as long as you weren't being a prick. I can't imagine how scary it must have been going to the Old Den back in those days? MOT
I remember going to the Den the first time we played them - 85 I think. Very dodgy place to go with that walk from New Cross station and their lads popping up from behind walls on the way down. but a great day out with all the fun n games!
Dean McFarlane ive been around long enough to know we have never been troubled by west ham or the icf and i'm talking late seventies early eighties...that is a fact pal....lusc
If you have been in football a while you will know that it varies between who is the best, Leeds were for at least 2 years but i can't deny others had their seasons aswell
Classic leeds. Sing a few songs and look big in an escort. Always the same when they come to Hillsboro. They got there arses shown to them before a world cup friendly at England Road. A guy lost an eye
Millwall-Leeds 18/11/2012 Check out the above link on youtube, this is the mob of all mobs, no other team would turn up in Millwall with a mob this good
tony oldham We were there twice in the 80s when it was lovely. Think if you ask your older lads they will definitely put you straight that we wasn't and still aren't dormice.
You're calling ME scummy and you're called "Calum". Sounds like a name of a Jeremy Kyle guest. Anyway, back on topic. I live in my own flat. Which council estate do you hail from?
"I've got that on film" LOL - Ohh ayyyye lad can see t'courtcase an t'compensation couming tout suite LOL (PS that means right away you thick nawven mankeyys) - irrrrons!
Spot on fella. See my comment below where on another clip one of our main mobs walks past Millwall, anybody who doesnt rate that mob is deluded and blind. MOT
