I just saw the ShowBiz Pizza Fiesta video commercial back in 1988 it was cursed because Chuck-E-Cheese was here because rip off Chuck-E-Cheese animatronic and that mascot is creeping me out even the animatronic
A young man who is in the last recording only mentions that they scared him and he also mentioned the bear Billy Bob Botarga. No se que tan bien traducido este
Theres a rumor that 1 of the shows is in a collection open to the public. Another is one was destroyed during the 85 earthquake. There was a couple of SPF open during 1980 all the way up untill 1997 (Yes concept unification happened in mexico). My dad has old photos of his trip to the one in CDMX.Who knows what happend to the others
The showtapes were recorded sometime between 1986 and 1987, Billy Bob was voiced by mexican singer and voice actor Ricardo Silva, mostly known for singing the dubbed openings of series like Dragon Ball Z, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, The Gummi Bears, Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Digimon, Captain Tsubasa and for it's voice roles as Prince Derek in the Swan Princess, Cornelius in Thumbelina and Tom Sawyer in the 2000 animated movie. Mitzi Motzarella was voiced by mexican singer and voice actress María de Jesús Terán who is mostly known for singing the dubbed opening of Ranma 1/2. The rest of the cast remains unknown, since we don't know if the dubbed showtapes were recorded in a professional dubbing studio or if they were recorded directly at the Grupo Biz instalations (Grupo Biz was a mexican company who operated various restaurants at the time and was in charge of the development of Showbiz Pizza locations in Mexico and Guatemala) If that possibility is correct, maybe only a couple of the voice actors where actually professional and the rest we're just random people of the company who could sing decently.
