Cuir Nilam is a current favourite of mine - a refined blend of leather and rose, with violet leaf adding a crisp, green sharpness, all grounded by earthy patchouli. Thanks for the video, I now want to sample all of them!

WOW You have an amazing collection! I'm always a little confused when it comes to leather scents, because as an animal lover and a vegetarian I've always avoided them. Then one cursed day I came across TDC's Adjatay perfume. 😄 Marzipan, tuberose, ylang ylang, with some milk chocolate and leather gloves locked in a wooden box. Irresistibly wonderful. It's not fair that beautiful things sometimes also hurt...😐

So glad you did a video on scents with a leather note. It is hands down one of my favorites. If you're thinking of what to do next, maybe you could dig through the crates and craft your top "ugly" scents list. Like an ugly/cute shoe, a mongrel of a dog or a hairless cat (I hate those). Just those scents that aren't for everyone and on the wrong day it can even catch you off guard, lol. Where some smell skunk urine you smell, well, skunk urine but its awesome!

This is really a list of referential leathers. Thank you. Your passion is infectious. I love Cuir Ottoman from Parfums d’Empire. There are some gorgeous leathers from Santa Maria Novella as well. They are very reasonably priced, classic and elegant. I do live a little dab of “Cuir de Russie” extrait from Chanel. I have no idea what the current formulation smells like, but my vintage version is breathtaking.

Thanks for this, Sam! I love a soft leather in fragrance. My current favorite is Sellier by Byredo, and am also loving Galop D'Hermès. You just gave me an idea about my SOTD...haven't worn Daim Blond in a long time. Great video and many for me to sample. 😊

Definetly Daim Blonde from Serge Lutens, Hermessence Cuir d’Ange, Cuir Beluga from Guerlain, Mon Numero 10 L’Artisan. With Galop Hermes have a love/not love relationship. Leder 6 is interesting but i have an issue with milk. Not a fan of sharp leather, love soft, suede, light approach. Thank you for this video, much appreciated. Greetings from Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Yayyy got excited to see a video from you! I honestly never know what’s a leather and what’s not.. they never smell like actual leather to me! Which is okay as I prefer the perfume version to the real thing. Is Sticky Fingers a leather patchouli? I think that’s listed and I ADORE IT. I own Chanel Cuir but I fell a bit out of love with it…hope we can find each other again.

Hello Sam! I also love time to time masculine leathery fragrances. One of my fave is ''Tuscan Leather '' by TF. My 100 ml bottle, for almost 10 years, is gone and now is too expansive to repurchase, however, I got some new replacement !!! It's call ''Velvet Oud'' by Lattafa. It's beautiful scent, very close to ''Tuscan Leather'',gorgeous presentation and for only $17 !!!!! I love your presentations and you are sooooo gorgeous girl. With LOVE from Chicago!

Love your robe! Do you know the name of it? I’m 5’1” with shorter arms. So, sounds perfect for me. Leder 6 is at the top of my list to check out! Daim Blond, Knise Ten, Iris Prima (“ballet slippers” got me!), Mon Numero 10. As I haven’t acquired a leather fragrance yet. Please do a tobacco fragrance video. I absolutely love that note and want to add a couple to my collection.

Channel volume seems LOUD, had to turn it almost off. 2 leathers worth considering: - Rich Mess - Eau Rhila- Diptyques vastly better version of TF Tuscan Leather

I've searched for the ideal leather fragrance for years and just gave up 😞 Hallucinogenic Pearl by Lab on Fire is okkkk but not it. Leather and berries is what I want. Something dry yet juicy, LINEAR and not only appropriate for the dead of winter.

Wow, fun! I used to have Mona di Orio's Suede de Suede, it was the most literal suede I've ever smelled. I believe the brand has closed down, but you may be able to find a bottle via resellers. A big brand option to try could be Tom Ford Ombre Leather.
