Originally it was just going to be blue for good guys and red for bad guys. Green was added because the blue saber was blending in with the sky backdrop in the Sarlac pit scene. Purple was added because Samuel L. Jackson wanted to find himself during the Battle of Geonosis.
It's because of their symbolic reasons in the lore. Also, the grey jedi exist in the comics which use white/grey sabers, and orange and yellow also appear in comics set in the high republic
Different time periods 😂 in the old republic era its more colors than the prequels, in the prequel era its because most of the jedi arent combative, in the high Republic era its mkre colors because the jedi are at their height of power
I like the unique sound design for the colors, with Orange sounding like a roar of a Jet Engine, The three main light side colors all being similar sound, but different pitch, yellow in a similar vein, but more grainy, Cyan being synth, magenta with its high brrrrr, indago with a low brrrrrrr, red sounding like a faucet and the grainy esque sound, and white being a metal slide.
I like how each color has a unique hum and ignition sound. Is it because of the way the crystal is cut that changes the sound? Wish we heard more unique variation in the movies, lik Kylo. Also, yellow and white sound so nice.
I feel super basic for favoring blue since it's basically the "vanilla" of Jedi colors, but it's always been my favorite since I was in grade school. I try to roleplay with other colors, like green for a more monk-like jedi or yellow for a stalwart knight from the high republic, but it never feels right for me visually.
I would love to have the option to save your customized lightsabers, so you can change them on the fly and not reconfigure everything from scratch. Something like a collection of lightsabers
lore wise, yellow is the correct option. The defenders of the jedi temple that guarded sacred texts had yellow sabers. and essentially cal is defending/safeguarding the ways of the jedi
Wrong, lore and canon Cal uses a blue saber. This is confirmed because in the "Jedi: Fallen Order Story Recap." In the main menu of survivor. It showcases cal using a blue saber through the entire trailer. I think the devs are going to give the correct lore accurate saber color to cal if they went through the trouble of making such a banger recap.
That blaster on the workbench is literally just a Mauser broomhandle with a silencer. Like, I know the DL-44 is based on that, and most blasters in SW are just real-world guns with sci-fi stuff put on them, but it's so obvious there. Other than that, very pleased with the variety of lightsaber colors in this game.
Do you realize how they're not using the original lightsaber sound anymore? Instead opting to use their own "original" renditions of it furtherly fucking it up more? Damn...
They are orange sabers. Because of light around the sabers their light blades may look like different colour. You can get exactly the same effect with neon lights. It's how light work in real life.
White all the way baby. Just kind of suits me personally as part of a white Saber denotes neutrality and that's kind of where I land on the whole Light and dark spectrum.
The colors definitely seem a bit different from the first one Idk better or worse I mean I like the green better in this but how do you get red and party mode? Party mode looks cool tho.
Hey I have a question after you beat the game and you started another normal journey did you have the sabers red and party sabers there too. Because I thought they were only for ng+
@@adequate673 doesn't really defeat the purpose. The purpose of bleeding a kyber crystal is to bend it to the dark side. The color isnt important. Thats why some Dark Side users use a purple light saber, purple light sabers are naturally purple but are affiliated with both the dark and the light
In legends red kyber crystals did exist naturally but they were extremely rare. There's also synthetic kyber crystals that the empire made but I mean...that's less cool
Cyan is such a nice saber color, It has the elegance of white, mixed with a hint of very visually pleasing bright blue and a sound that is relatively quiet and satisfying!
i know it sounds silly, but since they have a non-canon one like party, i hope they add a darksaber like one with the same sound effects it makes in the shows
I think it’s pretty logical! A dumb joke version of a lightsaber is a clear indication that maybe…MAYBE THEY MIGHT DO MORE NON CANON ONES…? I hope. haha.
@@gator743That was before the Darksaber was a thing. Plus, they're more devoted to canon nowadays. Still would love to see it as a New Game Plus reward though.
