This is sound teaching. My husband cheated on me before we were married. I guess he was being an untrained dog running after every tail. But thanks be to God he became a trained dog when we marry because I know for a fact he never cheated on me after that. He didn't know what he had in me, the woman he was searching for was right before his eyes but he couldn't see it. After he realized that I WAS the woman he needed not WANTED the game changed. Dr. Vernon your teaching is so sound and practical. I wish I had it years ago. You said something that makes sense "brothers get what you like".... I have a question what do people do when the physical traits that attracted them have changed? All of us change physically and psychologically over the years. In closing you also said there are two types of dogs: trained and untrained.... so we all must learn to get our fleshly desires under submission vs our desires controlling us. Keep doing what you're doing. It's helping alot of us.

Pastor, I think a good talk could benefit elderly spouses who do not know how to deal with MID-LIFE or SENIOR CRISIS. I think it happens to men mostly, but women, too. Many times the crisis leads to divorce or living together separately.
