Kudos for another great, information-packed video, Brother! I'm in the process of pivoting from a 26-footer to a cargo van (wish I knew 2 yrs. ago what I know now), and I've been watching ur vids for about 3 weeks. I also subscribe to Reggie and Pat's channels and after they both mentioned you in their vids, I decided to check out too! I appreciate ur authenticity and willingness to give us the info we NEED to know! Stay safe and keep grinding!
I just started pick up/delivering Tuesday and I have to say this is a learning experience that will make me better. I rode all the way back home no radio just quiet storming thinking of how I will go at this better and not make the same mistake. I'm gonna stay local for awhile until I get comfortable. I feel I would've made more staying in town.
You are on the right track. Never stop brainstorming. I suggest you get a notebook and start writing down every idea that pops in your head. That's what I do. No matter how crazy it sounds, write it down and start researching the idea. You will do great 👍🏾
@@BigCJCargoVan I appreciate that and everything you do to help everyone out. I definitely will do that and I'm ready to get a fresh week started tomorrow. 😎
Great! Call out on the state of Texas requiring commercial insurance. I don't have a cargo van yet but I'm aiming at it but I already have commercial insurance just for the cya. Thanks for sharing! Great knowledge and wisdom you're sharing sir. I'd love to pick your brain...homegrown in SAT. What's the best way to contact you without blasting our personal information in the notes here publicly?
Appreciate your support, I'm actually not on YT as a mentor, just sharing everything I know and learn on the channel. I don't want to overwhelm myself with personal contacts, I have way too much going on with my business. You can email me at CargoVanBusinessBoss@gmail.com response may be delayed, I receive so many emails.
On the cancel orders, they pay 50% of the BASE pay, not the whole gig... makes me grrrrr too. Couple of them are like that (Dispatch is too).... Keep rollin'.
Good video bro. Don’t worry about expressing yourself to the haters. You know what you’re doing and it’s working for you. That’s literally all that matters. Just picture it like this, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree are huge brands in world that sell things for $1 and they are million dollar businesses. It don’t matter what you get a job for or sell something for as long as it stacks!!!!! Keep running it up with your business. Very good job on steadily growing and meeting your goals!! Business has been growing greatly for me as well and I’m excited to drop new content showing all the upgrades I have made to my company!! Stay tuned!! #OnTheRoadWithRamrican 🚐
Doesn't that just mean that you were lucky or the Officer doesn't really know the Van rules? I would not continue to press my luck, especially if I know this may be wrong
Gig apps have there own MC numbers with fmcsa. Drivers do not run under the gig companies MC. All drivers are responsible for themselves, they must comply with fmcsa regulations. Gig app companies do not enforce those regulations. Part of your terms is that you agree to be legally operating when accepting any load. It's all on you.
