All Mountain Style Frame Guard Install is completed for my Rocky Mountain Instinct. Yes, this is still part of the new bike series for late 2019 and LUCKILY I get some serious bombproof protection for my frame. The AMS (All Mountain Style) Frame protection has a thick honeycomb surface which protects from dings and scratches. Here I install it and take it out for a spin. It looks great, unless you accidentally get shipped the pink, but I figure out a way to make it work :-) I LOVE AMS! Thanks for an amazing product guys!

Im using gorilla tapes, cheap affordable, tougher & for the down tube i use recycle/ unused bike tire + cable ties

Is it hard to peel off later? Don't want acetone on my carbon frame... But i like the idea.

For this sticky situation,u can try using sticker remover (please read product description b4 use) , WD-40, Isoprophyl alcohol or cooking oil rubbing method, plenty of tips on google also try to search in RU-vid.

5:40 get Studded tyres if you want to do that. it could have been icy.

Yea, everything was actually quite grippy, until I pushed my luck on the wall ride... But yea, that is a good idea.

@@mtbboy1993 I rode studded v-tire-co tires on my fatbike (recently sold it) and I loved it. Just ran the studs on the front, it gave me so much control when flying down the snow/ice trails. Never thought about adding them on my regular mtb... Good idea. Norway looks like an incredible place to live.

RideLabs It was way fun. I could clear the biggest jumps on the 3 jump lines, which was cool for me, because I can now one up my friends 😉 but 220 was too muddy so we couldn’t send much features. Till next year I guess..

Why are all these companies making these lame frame guards? All they are are moderately thick clear stickers. They should make something with a little impact resistance it's a waste of time. I don't run frame guards on my bikes because they're stupid looking and they don't do anything they need to be beefier. I don't understand it's just a sticker what's the point. They look lame. I'd rather have scratches than those Lame stickers on my frame. I mean I didn't pay $6,000 for a carbon fiber bike to put stickers on it. It just so frustrating because they don't make anything I've checked all over the world. I wish they had something that had some kind of impact resistance even on the Chain stays you can't find anything decent. Frustrating

Hmm... Well, I love AMS. I love the idea of covering my frame with a guard, especially one as thick as the AMS honeycomb, but you raise a good point. Do they really do anything to protect the frame. I should do some tests and see how big of a difference it really makes.

If u have carbon bike i would recomend you put at least some kind of protection on, because carbon will get beat up quicker than aluminium. (If u hit a carbon frame hard enough to make a bigger scratch, it will start to fell apart from that scratch. It might not be seen in a week or month but it will be in a season. :)
