I agree. Haney is a class act and was just ahead of his time. I think if he had competed in the 90s he never would have gotten close to 8 Olympias, but nobody else in the 80s could match up to him.

Arnold's long limbs were not a disadvantage. In his best shape he easily had the most perfect physique, and no one yet has approached it. The vast majority of people recognize Arnold's body as the best that has ever existed in bodybuilding.

Long limbs can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on the length of the muscle belly. Arnold was blessed with two full biceps brachii muscles that peaked marvelously. Unfortunately, his right biceps were so tremendous that it slightly dwarfed his left. One of the few marginal faults of the GOAT.

I just saw him in an episode of ‘hart to hart ‘ or something. it was playing in the background on hallmark before a Columbo episode. in the beginning he was shown as a stereotypical freak bodybuilder. lifting weights, always in shorts. near the end of the show he was wearing normal shirts and pants, suit and tie. and could act a bit and came of as charming.

Adrian Abad Haney and Arnold never competed on the same bodybuilding stage. Arnold has only been defeated 3 times in his life in a bodybuilding stage: Oliva in ‘69, Zane in an IFBB Mr. Universe in the late 60s, and some other guy I don’t remember.
