Hi Blaine, I love all of your dolls. I love the Marie Grace mold very much. Nanea mold is cute but also not my favorite. However I love your 119 doll with the blue eyes and the long brown hair. Aww I do love the Nanea mold. I think she has such a sweet and youthful face. The Marie Grace mold is hit and miss. I do have Marie Grace and my only other one is Shimmering Silver which I think is gorgeous. I hope to add another Nanea mold with bright red hair. 😉TM 120 looks so cute like that! I also love the name Kimberly. Her hair turned out really cute. Hopefully she will not be so mean that she doesn’t have any friends. 🫣
I see Nanea as sweet and youthful too - she looks the youngest to me. Those chubby cheeks 😂 After I see her in different ways, I might like her more. Oh and I still like her ofc. They just haven’t released her in a way that’s ideal for me. Marie Grace has had some great dolls - and if I had been as deep into collecting last year, I definitely would’ve gotten her collector doll. I can see why you love her so much!
I am enjoying your face mold themes! My favorite face molds are the Josefina and Sonali molds. If I bought a doll with a face mold I don’t have, it would be Nanea. AG Glitch: When American Girl is releasing new dolls or products, they are uploaded to the website beforehand. They turn the new pages “on” to test public visibility. They then turn off public visibility until they are ready to turn it back on. Sometimes people catch it when it is on for an initial public test and have been able to place their order. The order button should not be on. It is not a glitch, a mistake, or anything other than testing a new page with the public setting before it is active.
@@TrobertABQ I had never seen a glitch like that on their site-and I was surprised no one else saw it or talked about it. But I’m glad it happens and isn’t a big deal. I was afraid to mention it before in case someone would get in trouble.
(I don’t think I have ever gone on someone’s collection video and said they need another doll, but your Nanea collection is begging for Summer. She is so different than the other Naneas that have been released. I didn’t think I’d like her at all, but now that I have her I love her. 😊)

@@DisBlaine I like the doll and I have seen her in store. My granddaughter really wants her but I have to decrease my collection I live in an apartment and there is only so much room. I feel like AG really has taken over our lives and I just can't enjoy my dolls the way I want to. I am more of a display person like you (but on a smaller scale) but I no longer have a room to do that in so I have to rethink what I am doing. I wanted to get her the doll when we were at the store but I chose the stuff instead because there are two of them and I would have to get a doll for the other one also. I was hoping they would just share the clothing and pets with dolls they already own. She is just not letting it go so I may just have to make more room.

Did you film this before Summer's release? What do you think of her? When I first heard about her and her details, I wasn't impressed and uninterested. Since she came out, Ive grown more fond of her and will end up getting her. She can be another Nanea mold in your collection. 🎉😊
@@mykls2153 haha I actually did an entire video on why I will NOT be collecting Summer and her collection. I filmed it before her release but uploaded it after. So I didn’t know how much hate she was going to get! I figured some but not to that extent. I wonder if I would like her more in person, but that won’t happen, so I’ll livr without her.

@@iamsoverybored878 ohhhh I always assume anyone watching AG vids is into the dolls, but you prefer the smaller scale dolls. I’ve never had a MH doll, which doesn’t make any sense considering how much I love that kid of stuff. Some of them are so impossible to collect, so I’m glad I’ve resisted lol
@DisBlaine I do have two Wellie Wishers. I don't have enough room for AG. I just have the newer MH. I only have one original. Either they are two expensive or are missing limbs.
It definitely is a lot, and Canadians pay more with the exchange rate and shipping. However, I think if you get charmed by them, then you try to get at least a few. I didn’t really like them until a couple of years ago, but now I have a small collection (was able to get several when the former Canadian distributor had a clearance sale). I collect all sorts of dolls, and AG isn’t really good value unless you like the large size (which means hair that is easier to work with), the detailed clothing, and the stories. However, it is also the type of doll you can have even just one of and buy outfits and accessories for.
Frozen I think dosent have the adult fan base needed for collector dolls tbh im not really a Disney fan but frozen 2 kinda killed the franchise in a lot of ways
I'm not a Disney fan. I only really buy Pinocchio stuff. I do have two of the Little Mermaid live action dolls, but I got those because they were cheap and are pretty base dolls.
@@Razzberry_dollz I have such a narrow view of Disney collecting because I’ve spent wayyyyy too much time around adult collectors. Frozen is definitely popular with kids (I didn’t realize they still like it!) but I know too many adult frozen collectors too. Like my Tiana collection pales in comparison ☠️☠️☠️
@@DisBlaine I think frozen is like a case of a really loud minority They exist but i think they are like not as wide spread as they appear hehe Plus the overlap in frozen fans who like AG dolls is vary important
@@Razzberry_dollz I also haven’t seen much of the AG dolls coveted by Disney collectors - aside from Tiana fans clamoring for her AG collection. Difference being Tiana doesn’t have as much to collect compared to the other princesses
Thank you for sharing! It's interesting, I never was interested in the MG mold until Kavi came out. I went to her release party, saw her with the two buns in her hair in her PJs, went "oh no she's cute" and ended up getting her. Now the MG mold is one that I deeply, deeply love. I only have two dolls with the MG mold (Kavi and a customized Marie Grace, with short choppy hair that I named Charlie), but my kingdom for a dark-skinned MG mold doll. Actually, same with Nanea - if they released a dark-skinned Nanea, it would be a "shut up and take my money" kind of situation. I'm somewhat uncomfy with all the light-skinned Nanea molds they've released, given the origin of the mold. I don't know where I would rank the Nanea mold, but I know I would rank it above the classic and Josefina mold for me. As ever, I remain obsessed with your Heather (yes, do see the hypocrisy as I say I'm uncomfy with all the light-skinned Nanea molds and then obsess over your Heather). Tawny and Audrey are also both so beautiful. I think she actually looks quite lovely in that purple dress. And Kimberly is looking amazing! I love the fact that she's kind of a mean girl; I always think that I should have some characters that aren't super nice, but I can never go through with it. I'm also just amazed at how different your Nanea looks from mine, with those eyes. My Nanea looks so different from yours! That's just fascinating to me, how the smallest changes can make such a huge difference with the exact same mold. Also, so cool that you got a surprise sneak peak at the playline Rapunzel! Oh AG, never change with your terrible website skills!
@@eliseelliot That’s what I want in a Nanea doll: dark features and a deeper skin tone! The mold has so much potential, but they keep taking her the other direction lol. I wonder if I should swap out my Nanea’s eyes one day. She looks traumatized 🤣 (I blame Marylou-maybe when they become friends, I’ll change her eyes) MG could look good with a deeper skin tone too. Kavi is medium and already she looks so good (my fave MG doll) I think my 117 looks good in the dress… but I’m so sick of it for some reason 😝 It feels like she’s wearing a costume to perform and needs her proper outfit now. Just wish I knew what it was! Heather isn’t too much lighter than Nanea if that makes you feel better-but the stock photos tricked me into thinking she was darker than she really is.

Another great video! I never warmed up to the MG face mold. My daughter has the original but I never really liked her. I do think that they tweaked the mold a little bit when they brought it back. I don’t mind the Nanea face mold, but don’t have any. I was hoping Summer might interest me, but she’s definitely not for me. Good thing as I’m in an AG boycott over the AG/Etsy situation.
@@melangellperry5984 awww I wanted to like Summer too, but if it takes seeing her in person for that, it’ll never happen. AG doesn’t really seem to care they’ve upset a chunk of their collector base, do they? I wonder where this will all settle. Honestly, there are sooooo many dolls to collect. It doesn’t have to be AG. I’ve quit dolls over weird decisions, so I speak from experience
I think you have a great representation of your Marie Grace and Nanea face mold. I heart the Marie Grace mold. Do you like the Kanani or Jess mold better then Nanea mold? Marie Grace Kanani and Jess mold are my top three faves.
@@Latinart I LOVE the Jess mold. But it’s easier to know that because Ivy is one of my fave AG dolls, and that mold has had mostly dolls with dark hair and eyes, which makes it easier for me to see a sculpt’s beauty. Kavi allowed me to see how pretty the MG mold is, so I’d love to see the same eye / hair combo on Nanea.
What a nice collection of dolls! I really do love them all! 💖 Kimberly and the Rapunzel are my favorites in the collection you showed today. I love Kimberly's style and that she references Kimber from Jem, I was obsessed with that show a few years ago! Very cool! I only have 4 AG girls right now, but I would love to add a few more to my collection. The girl I want the most right now is Marie-Grace, I've been reading hers and Cecile's stories.
@@katie_and_her_dolls funny how much the Disney dolls stand out, isn’t it? They’re really striking to me too. I wasn’t expecting to like the Ariel doll as much as I do, but she wowed me in person. Having only 4 is wonderful!! Enjoy it as long as you can lol. Before you know it you’ll have more, and I’m sure you know how easily dolls take over your entire home 😆
