Do you have a recommendation for a tool to over hydrate the nests. I have some pippets? I spelt that wrong I am sure. But they are too big. Thank you. Edit: I just want to say thank you for getting a family interested in this hobby.
Wow a hole family! Regarding the question of these is a literal pool of water it will also be there in the hydration hole and with the help of a puppet you can remove it. In my case it’s not a complete flood as the ants can’t drown in it but it’s just not ideal with to much water in there for the ants to settle down. In a matter of days the problem is fixed 😄
Regarding the heat lamp dude, it’s mainly down to the humidity, if you raise the lamp up slightly, it should help a little more man. Either that or just turn the bulb off for a couple hours extra during the day or inside with your timer. May have to get a separate timer to the heat lamp!
Just thought actually, you may also get away with just resting a UVB bulb half the size of the viv in the top, that’ll do the same regarding UVB as it’ll be over 50% when typically you only need 30% of the tank covered with UVB light. ❤️
Good video! I would like to get the bicarnatum colony. I sadly don't live in Denmark and I don't think that I will go there soon. I live in northern Belgium, so it isn't that far. If you really want to let the bicarantum go and no one takes it, I would be okay if you ship them. I also understand it if you don't like shipping them.
