So much History in that Room. Debbie was part of the first African American Superstar Couple, as Angie Baxter Hubbard. She would later encourage Peter Bergman to try out for Jack Abbott #2 on The Young & The Restless and next year he will celebrate 30 Years Playing him. RIP Mary Fickett and Lee Chamberlain was also on The Electric Company.
The producers were hoping that Ellen Wheeler could recapture her magic from Another World when she played Vicky and Marley. However, Karen simply didn't work out and she was gone in under a year.
Yes, but Ellen Wheeler still worked most notably on Guiding Light. She meant well but she really tanked the show. She didn't allow the Otalia Storyline. She hardly used The Boudreaus, she allowed Beth and Alan to be together, and god knows how many other mistakes she made. Adam is really something, in the not too distant past he didn't want Stuart to be with Cindy then he has a change of heart. Did you see how Frankie comforted Scott.
I didn't start watching the show until the time around Terrance got attacked by those two racist thugs a few years after this, so seeing these earlier episodes is a real treat.
