Hello Chris, Thanks for another great video, and thanks to Smoky Mountain Knife Works. We stopped in there a few months ago , our first time. Wow, an amazing store. A quick visit turned into hours. Take care, Ben from Nova Scotia
G'day Chris, I missed the GAW but then I don't watch your videos for GAWs. Thank you for this, disciplined, look at your knife collection. What surprised me was the similarity between your stash and mine. I don't have the interesting multi-function blade design knives you have but apart from that I'm heavy on your knives (except the JX4 - don't get me started!). I'm also heavy on LTWK and DLT blades, both of which I adore for their handles, fit and finish. Like you, I love big, beautiful knives with super steels. Then there's my 1911 which is so precious to me because it came through the wonderful folk at Dark Timber Brotherhood (via DLT) and they put a DTB etching on it for me. As I will never be able to get one of Pete's customs; that 1911 will go to my grave with me. I've even got one of those brown leather baldric carry slings with the brass fittings. It is the most beautiful baldric out there. I'm so honoured to have got to make friends in the US knife community; a better bunch of people I've yet to know. Finally, I really enjoyed your 30 second challenge, testing yourself like that was extremely entertaining! Thanks, mate! Cheers, BH
Any knife collector knows occasional rust is inevitable. Those rust erasers Smokey knife works do a fantastic job cleaning up your blades. Polishing up brass gives a nice shine. Shout out to them. Thanks for sharing your collection. Just might have to try your challenge with my Buck collection.
Just wanted to say really enjoyed this video. But I enjoyed most all your videos. I'm a relatively new subscriber ran across your videos and really enjoy the honesty and lack of other people's opinions. I watch to hear your opinion and base my own opinion on that. Keep it up and keep it fun!
I always like your compilation overview review of your Jessica list collection. To be honest, I missed it since last 2 year you did the big one bag of blade.
Hello Chris... looks like a fine collection. I look forward to these type of 'refresh down memory lane' videos and often save 'em to my knife list... helps me recall so many of the names of all this hardware.
I'd be happy with either of those 2 knives, and just because I never win anything, and they came from my favorite youtube knife guy, I would Jessica list it, and keep it forever! That's assuming the seas parted and the earth moved, and I actually won a gaw of course. I know, not likely, but one can still dream, right? That drop forged hunter is one I MIGHT get..mainly because I bought the new drop forged survivalist..not the old on with that stupid gold coating, but the one that is grey like your hunter. The big difference however, is they put a handle inset in it, so it is no longer that hollow handle, and it made a HUGE difference in the way it feels in hand. Knowing you, you probably would wrap it anyway, but it is so much more comfortable to hold than the old one. Only mentioned it because it would be a good one for you to review in the budget category.
My buddy showed me his jx4 when we went camping and I fell in love with how it felt in my hand. I’m torn between the jx4 in 154 vs a bark river aurora 2 and or mini. I just might have to pick them all up sometime in the future but I’m scared their going to get discontinued before I get my hands on one. It’d be a great first fixed blade edc for me
I've been following your Chanel off and on and I really appreciate the knives you show. I'd like to know if you've ever tried Groundworks Curved Machete sold by Tractor supply. I've been using it for a while and I haven't been able to destroy it. Once it takes and edge it holds. The nice part is it's often sold under$10.
Hello Chris, thanks for sharing another really great review. Any knife collector would be drooling over such a fine collection. Of all the knives that you previewed, I am intrigued with the Kabar Turok. Keep up those great reviews. 🤗
Dude (and I can legimately write that as a Canadian), amazing collection! I think the ESEE HM would be very happy to live out its life in the Canadian woodlands...come to think of it, so would the Turok. Love the vids!
I would just love to have something to show on my channel and im more than happy 😁 If only i someday could be half as big as your channel one day mate that would be epic have followed you for years and love your designs 😁
Very nice man love your collection unfortunately I just recently moved and someone stole my whole knife collection and I'm on a fixed income so most of the knives that I had I will never be able to replace and if the zombies comes I'm screwed
