You can also use a razor or a fine-tooth comb. As a last resort, take scissors and cut off the unwanted lint. But each fabric has its own method. The treated sweater is ready to work with.
Even if you don't have advanced sewing skills, you will end up with a beautiful, warm product. The simplest thing is to sew a pouf. To do this, you need to cut off the sweater under the sleeves, then pull off one side and fill the pouf with padding polyester or holofiber. Then pull the other side together and sew the buttons where they are assembled.
If the sweater has a high neck, it will make a warm shirtfront. But other parts will also come into play.
1) Beanie hat:
The beanie hat is relevant at all times. You need to take your hat, place it along the elastic band and trace it, leaving room for allowances.
Then make darts on each part from the top in the middle, 10 cm long, 2 cm wide and sew the cap with one line.
2) Dickey:
Trim the top of the sweater on all sides, you can make it into a semicircle.
Then overlock the edges with an overlocker and turn them 1.5 cm wide to the wrong side and stitch.
3) Mittens:
Everything is just as simple here, you just need to trace your hand.
If the sleeve is wide at the bottom, then there is enough knitwear to sew mittens with a solid elastic band.
I have a narrow sleeve, so I circled my arm at the top of the sleeve and sewed the elastic separately.
