Oh Kada! What a gorgeous array of lovelies! How do you ever get anything done with those gorgeous bevy of beauties hanging around the place? The Fashion Editor is one of my favorites on my list. I’m constantly watching on eBay but haven’t pulled the trigger yet since she’s over that $200 price point NIB. Maybe someday… I was at a doll event a couple of weeks ago and heard a few people throwing your name around as one of their favorite Barbie RU-vidrs. It was a thrill for me to say, “Yes! I follow her too!”

I'm a hair taker downer too ! I have some with a half up half down. Or a small parts up. But most of my dolls have hair down, cause that's one of the things I love about dolls is the long beautiful hair!
Kada, I'm happy you ordered the new Silkie. I kept up my no buy until one of my Poppy's came in. But I also went for Target clearance 😂. I didn't get crazy but some deals couldn't be left behind. Like you I'm back on my no buy. Just be honest with yourselves and do what you want. I have spent less money this year. Always a great thing.
You almost had me for a second there! I love these dolls too. I remember seeing them on clearance at the store Tuesday morning many many years ago and wondering what they were at the time. I was collecting Madame Alexander dolls then. Sometimes I wish I could get into a time machine and just go back to Tuesday morning.😂
i hope they do come out with another line at the 75.00 price then the used ones on e wont sell and they will have to bring their prices down. haha i bought the new one and when i did i said to myself kada can not let his one go you right to buy they are gonna sell out fast

I got her right at launch. After hearing horror stories about Mattel Creations and scalpers, I didn't want to miss out. She would be my first. She's sapphire, which is my birthstone. Like that, she's different looking than my other vintage and reproductions dolls with this face mold.
I have three SS and I bought two at a now closed down Tuesday Morning store chain where they were reduced in price along with other high end Barbies and M. Alexander dolls once and a while. The third at Barnes & Noble.
I broke too lol I was actually gifted the 65th anniversary Barbie for my birthday on the 25th, I also redressed one of my best to a tea dolls and braided it it’s cute when her hair is down
@@kadawaldenthank you, we have two of the same silkstones and I have 7 at the moment until she gets here but I tend to buy doubles so I can leave one in box and play with the other with the exception of my pink collection #2 doll she is the only one I didn’t get a second of because of her price tag now I regret it lol 😊

I also started collecting in 2020 :) I love BFMC but at first I did not like it. Ps. The blue dress you have is not from a fashion pack. It came with a doll “Blue Chiffon Ball Gown” from 2016 ish I believe.
