Fun fact When Robin Lopez was in 3rd or 4th grade, he went to a warriors game and Thunder was the mascot. Thunder asked him for his name and Robin had a speech impediment so he said “Wobin” instead of Robin and Thunder signed saying “ to Robin, where’s the W?” So now people know why Robin Lopez has beef between mascots.

During the 1996-97 season, the Warriors relocated to San Jose Arena while their facility in Oakland, now known as Oracle Arena, underwent renovations. The team tried to draw new fans - or at least distract the old ones from the on-court mess - by unveiling a mascot named Berserker, who did not exactly dazzle crowds.

You forgot Sky Hawk. He was the secondary mascot of the Atlanta Hawks. He was the dunking mascot and leader of the Sky Squad.

I remember Duncan from the Nets very well. He was actually blue and his scales on his head were green and pink. I have a photo with him that my mom took at an event in north Jersey around 86/87. We attended many Nets games in the 80's (admission was cheap) and Duncan always came through the seats like any mascot. The Nets sucked back then, badly, and most of the time the crowd was there to see the other team.

When I was a kid I used to be a huge fan of the Golden State Warriors, however when Thunder was dismissed, it wasn't much of a fan anymore, I still like the team however it's not as fun then it was when Thunder was around, as a matter of fact I met Thunder in person and he was so cool, curse you Oklahoma City Thunder, ever since that team was founded, Thunder had to leave

You have no idea what you are talking about. In terms of the Nets mascots, Duncan the Dragon had no connection to the Swamp Dragons rebranding attempt. Duncan was the mascot in the mid to late 1980's, and the idea to change the name to Swamp Dragons wasn't initiated until about 1995. Duncan became SuperDunk around 1990 and was retired when there was a management change in 1995. The team went without a mascot for a few years until Sly The Fox was introduced around 1998.

The golden state warriors originally had Indian for the team mascot but they got rid of that mascot because it was too controversial for native Americans
