How would you start racing on bikes? I would love to race but I dont know if the motorsports park around me has something for beginner riders

If you have any local Go kart track near by some places races mini moto which is a great cheap way to start riding and racing then if you want to move to a big track you start on a Yamaha R3 or Ninja 400 and your local race series depending on where you live will have a new riders school if you do the school and pass you will get your race license! Then you are able to start racing at the club level or if you just want to do a trackday anybody can just show up and ride on track!

Kaleb, I saw in your other video a suspension tuner work on the bike. Do you know what he changed as far as preload and rebound? Thank you

Setting were different from bike to bike. Fork- Preload 3 lines show Reb all different est 4clicks in from stock. Slick bike had forks lowed 3mm Shock- Preload 10mm to 12mm on spring Rebound, 2clicks out.

thinking about to replace my 20 years old R6 trackbike with one of these, do you think it is capable of 600cc lap times?

I mean I know this season we were a couple seconds off the 600cc times in Moto America it’s definitely not as fast as a 600 but it does handle extremely well. I think it will be way more competitive in specific twins classes racing SV and MT etc

When the Aprilia guys were at Buttonwillow last Monday we saw Rocco Landers taking a spin on the RS660. Rocco told me it was so good that it would probably kill the existing Moto America Twins class if it's homologated. He said the stock 660 was pretty much already better than his SV-650 race bike! I did not ride one but spent time trying out the ergos and seating position. The handlebar bend and position I just could not get comfy with at all, and that was a big surprise. It felt like a mountainbike with a completely wrong bar setup. My 2¢ only, of course!

Yeah But any race bike would get clip ons so I was just looking passed that it will for sure need a new top triple and Clip ons!

@@CyberGasty Yeah this bike was tough to get comfortable on because it was standered shift and I usually use GP and the stock bar position has a rise on the clip ons

mt07: 75hp and 680cc aprilia: 660cc and 100hp

Aprilia has 100hp to the crank 85 to the rear wheel! It only has 85HP stock!

@@KD51LifeofaRacer the MT-07 also has 75hp to the crank! not to the wheel. Also, not that I love to be a dick, but the dynos show that it has 87-88bhp, not 85 xD not that it's a lot of difference but let's just stay true to reality.

@@KD51LifeofaRacer but... it does! everyone always uses power to the crank as reference, why do it in the other way here? The R6 has 118hp... to the crank. The ZX-6R has 130hp... to the crank. Etc.

Because the RS660 is way slower than a R6 and everyone thinks it’s a middleweight bike....
