I find it funny that you like to stay in the word kinda a lot; you said this is kind of …1:53 interesting, 2:54 cool it’s kind of neat. I think it either is or it isn’t. Just saying… great review.
Robo man programed. Expensive vehicle. But no one live will speak. Why after building something like that with huge price tag. They fired all salesmen.
I'm not really liking it. A single plug in burner in a drawer? The inside back looks unfinished. You'll have to resheet the bed every night. It seems to emanate a sense of grudge that people want to occupy it.
Panoramic RV is almost the same layout and similar high end build quality, but with an integrated propane cooktop and larger fridge, 35 gal fresh water, lithium batteries (220 standard/440 optional Ah), ability to make a second bed from the front lounge seats/table, and optional new Truma a/c. No poptop though. Scott if you ever manage to see one in person you will be very impressed!
I have not heard of Panoramic RV. It looks the only dealers are in Canada? I wonder if they are asking over $200K USD like everybody else. Prices are still ridiculous, imo. Van looks pretty nice, though.
@@gosmall.livelarge I just picked up my Panoramic a few weeks ago. It is the first Panoramic to be built on the US 2022 Ram ProMaster! The 2022 model has a lot more infotainment and safety features!Any chance we could meet sometime and you could rate it using your rating system? I live in SE Michigan.
Scott: I will be watching closely for a VOLTA option (no generator!) and, hopefully, the Euro-inspired headlights in place of the uglier front face. I would also appreciate either a dry-flush Laveo toilet or a cassette (no black tank!). I'm leaning toward Embassy (on the ProMaster platform), but like the seats and bed in the Rangeline better.
Scott, have you look into "Panoramic RV" from Canada? It has the similar layout with compatible price with better quality build. You should definitely check out the site and pay a visit. Highly recommend!
I see your next van, once they put the Volta in! Nice tour! I'm still a fan of my KL NPE. When we started looking at Travatos, I thought the bathroom in the back was weird, but I love it now. I like the open feel of it with the windows, and it's so easy to open up the back doors and do a thorough cleaning. I don't miss having a "real" sink in the bathroom. The fold-down sink works fine and makes the bathroom feel more spacious.
We have a 2018 Travato. For a class B it's laid out nicely. The only change I would have liked to be seen was Winnebago's choice of using the Pro-Master 3500. I think it would have been a better choice using the Mercedes with a diesel. For what a customer pays for these RV's, I'm not very impressed with the fit/finish of the Pro-Master.
This is really close to MY preferred floor plan... would love Volta, more battery capacity, bigger inverter, dry flush toilet ( would settle for cassette), 4wd or Awd, Great walk thru Scott. We will have to check it out on Sunday in Hershey.
Yes, please take a look on Sunday. If you can attend on Saturday we are doing a GSLL Channel Roundup (meet-n-greet) at the General RV Winnebago Travato display. Would be aweseom to meet you in person
I believe comes with 270 amp lithium battery and 2000 w inverter. Along with generator. They do now have new E1 system on other vans which is new. Hopefully they will offer as option on this rangeline. That would make this already awesome van even better!
Excellent job showing Scott!! Wish it had the Volta & 4wd. If you get the time could you show truck campers for half-ton trucks, example Lance model 650? Thanks & keep up the great work!!
This is a great van! The only thing I would change is I wouldn't want the permanent table & the extra 2 seats. I'd rather have a recliner & a couple of laguna tables!!! That's my dream plus a big tv!! Thanks for sharing
Great layout, very well equipped. Great to have lithium standard. They have really been paying attention to the market and addressing some of the shortcomings in the existing choices. No deal breakers in my opinion. And if I'm reading correctly, no LP.
C'mon Airstream! The people want lithium power! I'm shopping for my first RV and this would be near the top of my list if it had a Volta or Lithionics system.
Seems that Airstream hit a sweet spot with this combination of some Lithium and a quiet generator. Just enough battery to power everything but the A/C. So no more starting the generator to microwave, cook dinner or make coffee. Keeps the price down as you will see this Airstream is at a good price point. Now the trouble with Airstream and the dealers is I suspect they are not discounting the prices. Hopefully Winnebago will wake from their slumber now and work towards a better quality build on the Travato. I'm not going to hold my breath on that.
It's basically a Travato G. I just learned about this at the Airstream factory tour and they're trying to come in at a lower price point than their existing Bs. I don't like that they have the old style problematic screen door. And like you said they don't offer a Volta system. Again this is their entry level van. I'm impressed by Airstream in general but after seeing this I'll definitely stick with my 2022 Travato.
Us too! Love our Travato KL 2022! Next month we will have owned it for a year and never plugged it in because of the Lithium. Don't feel like I'm in a closet when using the bathroom because of the windows. We use it all the time, especially for daytrips to the beach!
Nicely done. A lithium system with a 12v AC that would run from the batteries would be nice. Awning windows on the sliding door would be nice too. An exhaust vent in the bathroom would be appreciated. Otherwise, outstanding.
Yay leisure travel vans. Rear bed combo and extra storage. Wonder what quality is better for the same price. Leisure t. Airstream or winnebago. Insulation to. Please reply.
That was my first thought - a solis with the pop top plus the microwave, pre wired for TV, nicer cabinets, nicer interior materials overall - I love it

Scott, thanks for the video. Have you check "Panoramic RV" from Canada? It is very similar to this floor plan and price point but much better detail and customizations. You would love it at a first sight. Highly recommend!😀
Watched the airstream video they put out, thought I didn’t like the bed, I now know I hate it. Everything else, the galley, front eating area/table, and bathroom is well done, except for as mention no natural light in the bathroom. No TV, that’s an issue for me. I wish the Embassy had a better bathroom.
Finally! something other than a Mercedes. Like almost everything about it. I would have liked to see the same layout with a lower bed that can also be used as a table. Love the bathroom.
As myself being older, I would not like the ladder ... other than that, Airstream's floor design is truly inviting 🎉❤ love the bath door. 😊 thank you for sharing. Safe travels
I watched the manufacturer walk-through also and noted a couple of things from your video and theirs. The openable windows seem quite small, plus there’s not one in the galley area. It’s unclear how the small square windows open. Also,I didn’t see a max air fan anywhere in the ceiling. That and the small windows would make a hot, stuffy van. I do like the programmable generator where you can auto start the generator and ac based on temp. I like that it’s a gas fueled furnace with no LP onboard. It sounds like the insulation is a vast improvement over most class B’s. Even the vendor video fails to demo the process for putting the bed up and down. As Murphy beds go, the Travato 59G is still the best, in my opinion, because the bed can stay made as the one piece mattress just folds. This bed, and others, split apart into multiple cushions, which would likely decrease comfort with gaps and make keeping the bed made up with regular bedding difficult. There are some nice things but it still doesn’t beat your rig.
The echo is a very different type of RV. This is more like a three. Five season rig. Airstream rep walks you through everything.NEW B VAN COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH 2023 RANGELINE by Airstream 2022 Hershey RV Show ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fa4xkArai7Y.html
Nice Van. I would prefer they made the back more of a lounge that converts to a bed which would make it usable all day. Build quality appears good but time will tell. Thanks for posting
One of my favorite Bs on the market. Been researching the Airstream, Leisure, and Pleasureway, in depth. My biggest concern with the Airstream is the chassis. Or for that matter all of the class B chassis platforms that are available in North America. They are the "achilles hea l" of these units. To spend up to 200k on a n RV with a weak chassis and drive train is asking for trouble and expensive maintenance costs as they age. Just my opinion as someone who spent their career managing fleets.
Almost perfect, but none are. As a family of 3 these Promasters with poptops would work great. Not sure how I feel about casset toilets vs. black tanks since I've never used either. As for solar/batteries; as long as you can plug more panels in and add a batter or two.
It’s nice but seems cramped as compared to other brands brands. Bathroom is ok but I didn’t see venting for shower and toilet smells. The turn screw at the water access seemed plastic and flimsy. Kind of like it could break easily or many even strip out over time. Loved the dog trays but seemed a tad high for small breeds. I liked the portable cook top. Airstream is a well named brand. I kind of expect a little more from their design. These are just my personal opinion. Very nice walkthrough.
Great walkthrough, Scott! I like how they did the bed in the back, the outside has a clean profile, and the galley is nice, but that bathroom sink and all the seams look like lackluster manufacturing and design in the bathroom, especially from a company like Airstream. And as others have mentioned, no Volta. Overall, it's a pass. So much happier with the 2021 Travato GL NPFE!
Fantastic review! Question, did you say that the table is permanently inserted? If so, I don’t see how car seats could even begin to fit on that passenger bench, let alone little legs. Thanks for your feedback!
Colonial Airstream replied to my post with this: "The price difference is for the 2023.5 on the new RAM chassis." By the way, the Airstream RU-vid site took down my comment.
Yes, solar is standard as far as I know. You’ll want to see the walk-through with the airstream rep on this video. NEW B VAN COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH 2023 RANGELINE by Airstream 2022 Hershey RV Show ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fa4xkArai7Y.html
I'm a BIG fan of the Thule (manual) awning on the Airstream Rangeline. I would never buy a motorized awning based upon many reports of failures and problems that occur with them.
I purchased a new Airstream Rangeliner. It appears that the window in the sliding door was not installed properly. Neither Airstream or Ram consider it their problem to fix. Also, I have discovered that the generator is leaking gas. Apparently that will be up to Cummings to fix. All of this is very disapointing
Class B, B+ and even 25 ft Class C's have minimal to no outside storage. Where do I put my folding Ebike (when I don't want it on an outside hitch?) Griddle/Grill? outdoor gear? In other words, where is my Garage? It has been answered with Winnebago EKKO (B+) and 2023 Tiffin Wayfarer LW (C). But what if I want the versatility, stealthiness and easy-parking of a 21ft Class B van? What if I want to be an Urban Cowboy like Scott😊 The Winnebago Revel is just too small of a rig. The new Coachmen 24A has a tiny garage underneath the aft twin beds, plus it is long at 24ft (why not just get the 23ft EKKO instead?) The Travato GL under-bed garage is also cramped. But the new Airstream Rangeline answers it with a modified Winnebago Revel Bed & Garage combo. Plus, it has a decent bathroom. I agree with others: it needs a bigger fridge with separate freezer (get rid of dog food bowls) and the option for Volta Lithium package, but that would probably add $30,000 to $40,000. Overall, as a debut, Airstream Engineers have done an outstanding job. Who would ever thought this since Airstream is selling their other Class B's for twice as much.
I wonder how much leg room can be had when the driver's seat is all the way back. I would like to buy a Travato KL, but the kitchen counter prevents the driver's seat from moving back far enough for me. It looks like there is a bit of space between the fixed table and driver's seat on this van--- I wonder if that allows the seat to go back all the way?
Not sure, Jason. Been awhile since i did that video. Did you see this cool video I made for you to Discover Old Florida, Micanopy, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nVcYbPEiMCY.html
The Bed design 'looks' great, but is it comfortable? For 130K you should get a larger frig. I presume there is a market that is willing to pay for all those bells and whistles, IDK.
Looks really nice! can't wait to check out all the vans at the show! Glad to see Airstream add to their motorized lineup - now they just need to add something on the Transit ;-)
You are so nice and awesome.. i love your channel.. I watch your zion slumber 2 videos iam 100% that is the best floor plan for me .. and again thank you so much for reading and replying to my comment 🥰❤️
About the closest G plan available, yet. This coach needs Volta! The bed is brilliant. If they weren't going to do a back door cabinet, why put the wood panel there? Would like that gone to create a full height entry. Very nice plan...Would be Epic using the new Promaster super high roof! Love the end bumper music...
About that wood panel above the back door. It may seem weird, but provides some aesthetic and also the opportunity to match the two small molle panels with a larger one above.
With today technology you'd think they could have made the bathroom a 2 piece insert to alleviate water escaping through/around sealant...shortcuts are typically a Winnebago thing.... I guess Airstream as well.
Has mentioned by the airstream rep in the second video we did on that fan the van saw from the first video is a prototype. I think those seems will be addressed. This is very close to what I am looking for, but no Lithium package is a deal breaker......and ...I just checked their website, this is what it says: "A 270Ah lithium battery and 2,000 watt inverter come standard" looks like a home run with this package. Only thing missing is adaptive cruise control. Thanks for the video
@@gosmall.livelarge Thank you Scott, you nailed it with this one, for bringing it to us, I have been looking for something similar and could not nail it. This may be the one for me, though I will still wait for Wingamm 610 to come out and then decide. Happy Travels!
Decent unit but 70's tech when it comes to generator and black water tank. Many parks do not allow generators running and I hate looking for a place to dump the tank. This looks like a "true" 2023 RAM Chassis...I would hope so, that is a plus! Is the price MSRP and is there any discounts available from dealers???
If they do not offer a three-way fridge it's not for me. ! I don't want a 25000$+ lithium package for a 5 ? days fridge operation. (20lbs of propane will suffice for 15 days ) P.S. no ventilation in the bathroom ?
I really like what Airstream has created with Rangeline, but DO NOT WANT A BLACK TANK OR A GENERATOR. Do you know what would be involved to replace the toilet with a Laveo Dry-Flush and re-purpose the blank tank as a secondary gray tank? Also, since a VOLTA system is unknown, is there enough room in the box that holds the generator to accept a VOLVA or LITHIONICS custom install? I will ask these questions to an Airstrram dealer, but am interested in your take on them.
@@gosmall.livelarge Totally, I’m really curious. I know with other class b vehicles like this that there’s a storage space on the outside, and I can’t imagine Airstream to say we just need to put that hose on the inside.
Too bad the fridge is small - but one could purchase a 12v freezer that could go in the garage if needed. Love your NovaKool though. I really like this rig. The Promaster has all the bells and whistles on it and is only 9'5" tall which fits in my carport. Did the bed area seem comfortable? thank you for showing this, I am waiting for the walk through with the Rep.
It’s a 3.2 cu ft refer which is appropriate for the size of the galley. It’s my refer and in vans you are typically going to see a 3, 4 or 5 cube refer as the standard sizes. 3 and 4 cube are by far the most popular sizes of van refers out there
