I've had that same mindset lately with how I want my home to be. Clean and light. Especially with being mindful of what I bring to my house whenever I go out shopping. I tried the three Dollar Trees closest to me and they had nothing of what Kathryn was showing. I was excited about the rug grippers a few videos back, but no luck. In fact, the stores were trash. Dollar Tree needs to up their store cleanliness and organization. Umm, maybe hire Kathryn.

I found this channel about 2 months now. I love the energy, ideas, and positivity you share, Kathryn. While I can’t claim to have seen all your $tore hacks, I have one to share. Those square fabric bins hold extra hangers. Hangers lay flat and I will place 4 together in one direction and the next four in the opposite direction. It works with shirt and bottom hangers. Absolutely comes in handy on laundry day or while ironing. You are FABULOUS 💗😃

I love all of your videos. Do it on a Dime is always welcome on my TV and I look forward to the videos every week. This one in particular is my favorite this year. It’s right before Christmas and it tackles one of my kitchen problem areas- the junk drawers. Yes, I said drawers. We went from 1 to 3 because it’s my husbands drop zone. I’m going to go to the dollar tree today to see if I can find some of those drawer organizers. I also love the Christmas card holder. I feel like you could turn it into a snowman if you wanted- that would be a cute craft idea! Thank you Catherine for the inspiration and for your videos every week. BRILLIANT IDEAS!! 🤩 Super creative, as always. Also, I saw the episode with you and Rebecca Robeson (I'm a Design Sessions Member), updating your home decor. Your makeover turned out AMAZING!! I was so impressed. Sometimes we need to splurge on an item or two and I'm so glad you did. Saving dollars where you can with DIY is necessary but WOW you two really worked together to find a new cohesive design! (My favorite parts were the lights over the table and the chest in the entry!) 1:35 magnetic hooks are awesome! I have an old 1960 built apartment: metal door ( fire?) , metal closet doors, metal frames around the door ways🙄? Hooks, and any magnetic items hold masks, measure spoons, cups, calendar, etc. Love magnetic hooks and these are great! 🥰

The past 2 years has been rough. I have not wanted to do of anything since my mom (best friend) passed away. I lost 2 jobs in the past year. I have started to do more around the house since i started watching your show. I have gotten a lot of ideas for my house and am excited about decluttering and cleaning. Of all the Dollar Tree organizing, work, craft, etc. hacks that I watch, I believe yours are the best. Clear diction (important as I am hard of hearing), friendly, caring warm personality, originality of content, informality Make them fun and easy to watch. Magnetic hooks! I use them to hold measuring spoons and cups on the side of the fridge. I bought 2 sets of each-- spoons and cups. It is so handy to have 2 sets ready to go and it's nice to hang them outside a drawer so that they dry well. I separate the spoons so that the Tbsp are together, tsp are together, 1/2 tsp, etc. I labeled them and they are quick and easy to grab when cooking.

I found the woven baskets at our Dollar Plus! Love it for our under the coffee table organizer. It's a perfect to stand up the remotes, lotions, pens and paper, etc.

Here's a couple of Dollar Tree tips/ hacks for a fresh smelling house. Pick up baby mittens on the baby isle (they come in a 2 pack = 4 mittens) and put the laundry scent beads in them then tie with some string for drawer sachets. I use a small spray bottle (travel bottle) and put Fabuloso cleaner in it and have them in my bathrooms. This works better than the poo spray to keep those odors at bay, but as a bonus it is an all purpose cleaner to help manage a clean toilet between cleanings.

Knowing how you love to change things up...those lamp bases can be spray painted as well as the shade, but I decoupaged my shade with fabric. You can do the same with the desk organizing pieces. I've painted, covered and reconfigured so many DT things. Lol
