Figured We’ve been seeing alot of the same layouts lately so wanted to SPICE IT UP with something a little different. I do so few single wides so I hope you enjoy!
I love this home. I love the flooring and the style of this home. It's actually a treat to see a smaller home for there isn't such a waste of space. I am very grateful you showed us this home. I hate carpet. I am a professional cleaner and carpet are nothing but dirt trap.
Lots of windows! Kitchen has a great layout and I really like all the cabinets. No carpet is a definite plus. Master bath needs some work though. Swap the sink and toilet. Replace garden tub with a free standing one. Thanks for touring a single wide.
I Love 💕 the Windows! ❤️ Stainless Steel Refrigerator? Washer and Dryer? Love the Bookshelves! 📚 Missing Entertainment Center? 📺 No Mirror in Bathrooms? 💦
Very nice home and with plenty of room. I like the 2 big bedrooms. For someone like my bride and myself it's perfect. Our kids our grown and have there own families. So we don't need a big house anymore just a place to call home base . We like to travel
I've got basically the same style floorplan, although its a 1993 version... so things are layed out a bit differently. but, mines a 2 bed 2 bath with the same layout, having a nice soaking tub and shower... and having the front bedroom having a full bath.... I'm glad that they are starting to make the home without the vaulted ceilings... mine has that and I kind is hate it... plus the water heater is in the front bedroom closet instead of the laundry room... pretty soon you will only be able to get homes in all electric models as climate change is forcing the industry to change... natural gas may be a thing of the past some day.... I really like that model.... that would be a direct replacement for what I have now... thanks for the video!
Living room would be great if they took those four windows and kept the two center ones and getrid of the other two and like one window on front side again need walls for furniture.
Not bad for the price. Noticed the house across from the kitchen window, the one with the big porch. Have we toured that one? Is that the log cabin style? Thanks for the tour
I really like this one except for no dishwasher and if you buy a bigger fridge it won’t fit in that tight space. Also don’t like the toilet being the first thing you see in the primary bedroom. Love the kitchen and would put in permanent bench seating under the window so you can have a bigger table. Love the primary bedroom size as it can easily fit a desk or comfy chair for reading.
I've watched several home tours from New Mexico and I'm wondering if there is some rule/regulation that doesn't allow for dishwashers in the kitchens in that area?
In this video you mention previously touring a mono pitch single wide. Do you know of any companies that sell them in NY? Everything is just a box and nothing with nice architecture. Great video as always!!
Hi Joshua, not every home has the price on the fridge and it is increasingly hard to have home centers disclose prices since INFLATION and what not. However for the most part every home I show, I state price immediately following the tour.
Counter needs to a white or a cream with spackles of brown and appliances need to be stainless steel black backs it look to dark it doesn't look good and whirlpool appliances get rid of the master suite tubes when a person gets older they can't get out of tubs build a larger shower to put seats to be able to sit to bath when they get older
first, it has way too many windows, remove the tub, tile the shower walls, put a linen closet in, move the sink over to where the tub is and give it a double sink with double mirrors, put the master closet doors in the master bedroom, or maybe just have 1 (one) bathroom
YAY a single wide!!! I love the windows in the living room as well as the built-ins. Lovely big kitchen and even the utility room has double doors for the furnace and water heater. I will never get why they try to hide the water heaters behind panels in many of these homes. It's nice to see a 2 bedroom as well and I am super impressed with the amount of space. Thank you for showing this; it made my list!!!!
This is a great single wide. One of the prettiest layouts I've seen for a single wide. Nice Large rooms. The master bath is a little awkward to me, but the rest is a winner. Great Tour, Timothy! Have a great weekend.
Wow prices sure have increased. My parents bought a double wide modular home 28 by 50 for $49,995 but that was 1996. A 2 1/2 car attached garage, walk out basement, and a back door deck was added for and additional $27,000. The single wide today for $109,000 is nice home for the money in today’s prices.
really like this one! I like that the toilet is not in a closet and 1st when you enter the bathroom. the only thing I would change is, electric stove and a dishwasher.
I like the way you show trailers but even you with all your charm couldnt make this one look good. Its ugly all over but thanks for showing it to us. I appreciate seeing everything out there since I'm looking at retiring in a few years and I'm exploring all my options.
Very much like the floor plan of this single wide. Not so much with exterior colors/siding - which of course could be changed. Two nice window features : back door has a sliding window with screen, as does main bath. Would add a coat closet by front door. $109k starting = holy _ _ _ _ - no not that word - moly ...
Thank you for this one. It's the closest to something I would like that I've seen. Bigger is not always better. 9' ceilings , more spacious 2nd bath... a little tweaking. I love the arch too.
