What a cool model who makes this it sounds and looks really good that was the PRR's first electric locomotive The term DD1 refers to that it is two of their D class 4-4-0 types back-to-back Thus the name DD1s and the GG1 electric refers to that it's 2 G class 4-6-0 tenwheeler back to back built in 1934 by General electric and designed by famous industrial designer Raymond Lowey the GG1 was the most successful electric of the Pennsylvania Railroad and they ran from 1934 to 1983

Great question. This video comes from the GHB warehouse. When these were first delivered over a year ago, it was brought to GHB’s attention that the shells had somehow gotten fingerprints on them. So instead of releasing them they asked the factory to produce new shells to replace the existing ones. New ones took about a year and they’re being swapped out now. The extra shells you see are the old shells now considered rejects. Thanks for asking
