Germans please allow foreigners to review your cars. This reviewer started by saying he is not a fan of that kind of design. Then you should not be reviewing it. This vehicle is a beast and your review did not do justice. Please only choose vehicles you truly like for reviews.

GLE COUPE is a sports SUV but still maintains the elegant signature of the traditional Mercedes. I love this new design.

Well done again Thomas and adding in a little humor, makes it more enjoyable when you are delivering a lot of information. The Mercedes looks a lot higher than the BMW X4 and X6. Perhaps it's the running boards that is giving it a higher / taller look. I don't mind a Coupe style SUV. If we still had Kids / Teens, I would rather consider a traditional style SUV, which would be more practical, rather than a Coupe. In my opinion, the BMW X4 and X6 has a less aggressive slope to the rear and that does offer a little more headroom in the back. Once I'm done with my Infinity QX50, arrangements have been made to purchase a BMW X4 M40i. Nochmals vielen Dank für einen detaillierten Einblick in den Mercedes.

I really like the original X6. The later generations never looked as good. The GLE or the Cayenne coupe don’t look good to me. The Q8 looks good except it doesn’t look like a coupe

Thomas cozy in a middle rear seat and inside a Coupe! Yes so surprised! GLE coupe looks very nice outside and Inside. Definitely take Mercedes over the rest! Pd great camera work Jonas!

The rear is ugly, the air vents are ugly shaped, the round ones on the A-class/AMG coupe would have looked better, but overall the car is cool.

Anthony Z i beg to differ, compared to the idrive 6 the idrive 7 has a fluid lay out. Its very complex but Once you get the gist it gives MB a run for its money

Mercedes makes great cars... but to compare the x6m to this is just not fair... x6m is just more 18 to 65.... where as the mb is in my opinion for the older refined 45 to 105 ..... lol it's funny but true . My opinion.... oh the x6m you can see on a race track and it looks like it belongs there.... bmw interior is also outstanding ....

shawn simpson Oh no, I agree with you! The new x6m will be a thing to marvel. i wouldnt say that the gle coupe is for old people, more so for my wife or daughter. I own a bmw my self but to be far the mb isn’t to bad of a car, it does remind me of an older model x6.

Shortened wheelbases are a hallmark of Mercedes coupes. The coming-of-age models, like the C123, C124 and C126 models all had shorter wheelbases than their saloon brethren. Personally I don't care for SUV or 4 door coupes at all, but nevertheless I appreciate the added effort to differentiate these "coupe" models, especially when aligned with traditional production modifications which MB used to make.

It doesn't look like a chinese X6 copy anymore. Have to give it that. But it's still a hideous car, that really sends out douchebag signals. My prejudices tells me it's the owners of these cars that park on handicap spots because they are to lazy to walk. These and cars like the X6 and Range Rover Sports. As I said - prejudices. But still :P That or soccer moms that "want do sit high" while sitting in standing trafic for one hour a day... There might be really nice people driving these kinds of cars. But I actually doubt it ;)
