Finally was able to get a hold of these tires!!! Absolutely stoked to use them off-road. Wanted to get a video out showing you guys that they are available and where you can get them! Parts Unlimited is a US vendor
I own them, they are just AMAZING off-road and pretty decent ON-ROAD. Just need to wait to see how much will they last, so far I have 3000 Km and still pleeenty of meat on them
My e09 Dakars (older model with the same rear and different front tire) lasted from Germany to Spain and back. 2.5 weeks of a heavy gas hand on and off the road. Did mostly dirt tracks and trails but quite a lot of highway and paved street as well. 140/80-18 rear lasted ~7000km on my XR 650 R
I ran a set (the standard not the Dakar) on a 450EXC. Much too stiff so the handling is dead, no lateral grip on loose gravel or dirt and heavy, not a tyre for lighter bikes.
So far I’ve been enjoying them. The Dakar versions like a lower tire pressure just as a heads up. I’ve got about 20 psi in my front and 25 psi in the rear. Otherwise they feel unstable, and as always are sketchy on grooved pavement
I believe they are the new version of the E-13 how are they working out on the tarmac ? I currently run the E-09 on the front and the E-07+ on the rear. Not so happy on wet road they are really slippery. Someone told me don’t take the Dakar version and i must agree the non Dakar version is stiff enough
@@Jonathan-ez8tq I really try to keep the road use to an absolute minimum with these tires. They are too comparable to actual knobby tires. I wouldn’t worry too much about street performance, these tires are just meant to get you to the next trail in my opinion.
C21 stone eater will kill it for best performance front hard turning of road bite.awsome rear them XTs..,oh you need to flip your rear axle blocks.....
Im waiting for the non Dakar version. So my friends dont get mad because i cant remove the tire to change the tube in the bush 😂 How hard is the Dakar to mount?
Trying the Mitas XT + front and a MotoZ Adv Tractionator Rear for my T7. Will probably try a Mitas rear if I'm impressed by the front and possibly a Rally Star Pro Rally Front/Rear next season.
