Any problems with your receiver box? I seen a previous video that a guy posted up saying it wasn’t waterproof. if so, it wouldn’t be a hard thing to do. I’m thinking about purchasing one here this month as well. They look so sick and I have a really cool river by my house.
It’s more water resistant as the box. I did use corrosion X to water proof my receiver. If you look back a few videos, you can see how this stuff works. Any receiver, fully waterproof
The ESC I think it’s really a hit or miss. I’ve seen them burn out with other people. The one I have for my Recoil has been going for a year and a half only on 3s because it’s my daughters, she drives at the most. No problems. I honestly think it’s the size of the motor kv and 4s just too much of a system for 100 amp esc. Jet boat here less kv 1600 kv I believe so, when you compare the rpm it’s technically like driving the recoil on 3s. 1600x 14.8 23,600 rpm’s. Recoil 11.1 2300kv 25,530. Very similar rpm. So the load should be similar. My 32 in mono 2200 Leo and 150a esc on 4s is worked hard.
