The amount of fan services with the 3 paid dlc characters are insane. Gojo with all his techniques in cutscenes almost straight from the anime . Geto with his signature cursed spirits during that time , especially the angry expression with his ult fighting against Toji. And Toji whipping out the chains and the pose after slicing the Rainbow dragon are also so close to the anime , just so good 🤌
@@thelonewolfgamer_unus9577 It isn't about the gameplay It's about the effort they put in with the game with the Main Menu looking like a DVD Menu and the story is pretty much a Visual Novel with cut and pasted scenes from the show itself (Gameplay is good for me but I can't exactly find a lobby because 1. low count on PC and 2. no Crossplay)
It honestly looks like the developers are afraid to go out with the animations to me. Gojo’s hollow purple animation looked a bit rushed, Geto didn’t do much, Toji didn’t really look like it hurts (I think they could’ve done what he did to Gojo (all the stabbing stuff I mean), Mai’s ultimate was really boring and Momo was also kind of boring. I feel like Cursed Slash was rushed or something like that. What I will say is I still like how Gojo and Geto looked in the combo ult
I think it looks rushed since they didn't want the cutscenes to be TOO long. It would be kinda annoying to have to watch a 30 second ult every match, even if you are the one that uses it.
You have a point but they did a lot for Sukuna’s domain expansion, which does take a while. Then again that’s an entirely different thing from a regular ult in the game and if the ults were too long that’d probably be annoying to sit through
@@hiftycringe4509 Mai's random shot wasn't just that, it was ment to be the first time Mai's cursed technique was revealed against Nobara. I think it looks fine, considering what they were going for.
Gojo shouldve screamed sokamona in his final attack and Toji's final attack should have been his pierce attack through infinity and the flies surronding the enemy player
It's weird how the ultimates from the Storm games, even for the more obscure characters in the roster, are way more flashier and cool than the ones from this game Is the perfect time to get creative and they just drop it
@@baileygobrr the only cool part is the easy to replicate purple effect (which is what makes hollow purple cool to begin with) the enemy just falls over after the ultimate n it looks like trash
My issue remains the same with the ults, they have cool setup just for a total letdown It just does not feel satisfying because the hits themselves feel weak
Its still insane to me how bright this game is, like its a show about curses and you make a game without a single shadow. High noon on summer solstice lookin stages. The supers have a bit better direction now at least, in the launch roster it felt like they were scared to take even the slightest liberty with the animations and had to remake everything shot for shot even if it had no impact.
The animations are improving but the thing is it feels like they lack imagination with them, like they took gojo being high and incorporate it well into the ult and overall he was done perfectly but there are some outliers like toji and geto, like tojis ults were so devastatingly underwhelming it made me sad, and getos rainbow dragon ult just lacked something to actually make it good. I am not trying to say they did bad, the animations are a lot better than most of the base game rosters but it lacks innovation and it overall gives it just makes the ults bland so I hope when shibuya gets done, they truly decide to take their time and think of some good choreography for them that show the best of shibuya.
I think the problem is the ults are fine but everyone us use to bombastic balls to the walls explosion at the end of sn ult.if your coming from other anime titles. The storm series ults mostly end in huge explosions and with the exception of a few dont have that.

they should add counter like somebody makes a joint attack if you react so fast you can stop it with a scene like toji blocking the red reversal or breaking the ¿geto domain? blocking rainbow dragon bite

Daaamn these are so much more cinematic, I feel like if they shaded it better and maybe made the contrast higher this could pass for really good looking

@@user-cn7oj3ws8q How so? Every single ultimate in this game looks lame as hell, compared to other anime fighters like Ninja Storm (even the PS3 ones) or Dragon Ball FighterZ. Hell, Budokai 3 on PS2 had better looking ultimates than this.

I'll give them some points for trying to make it as anime accurate as possible, like you said, but DBFZ did the same thing only looked a thousand times better. I would've liked this game so much more if it was another "Storm reskin" like Demon Slayer got, just because this game as it is right now bored me so fast that I was still in time to have it refunded on Steam.
Dawg okay like just shut the game might be overpriced but its still a game and its actually pretty fun. The only thing i saw wrong while playing was how unnecessarily overpowered sukuna is, but that's just canon. 🤫
Ok my ranking here would be 1. Gojo: Hollow Purple 2. Gojo: Red Reversal counter 3. Geto and Gojo: Maximum Blue 4. Geto: Uh the curse girl lmao 5. Geto: Rainbow Dragon 6. Momo: Wind Slash The rest are either too short, not flashy enough to be a special move or just in general dont stand out from the rest of their kit.
How come Momo’s ultimate looks better then some of the past ultimates I’ve seen for cursed clash, like Roblox cutscenes look better then majority of these 💀
On the brightside, at least the models can be used for modding, now I just need to decide who I'll replace in Smash Ultimate, I'm thinking Richter for Toji and Bayonetta for Mai
