some of these tmx and .gin sounds have changed throughout the releases of these games from prostreet to world -nis_sky_a and sky_b have change from PS to UC, sky_a sounds uses a mix of nsx v6 and skyline sounds while the sky_b uses a nsx sounds(why?!). their half accel(featured in this video) and decel sounds are unchanged. -for_mus_a changed from PS to UC and the PS ones actually replaces the once used all the way from UG2. the PS ver. is more bassy than the once used in the UC and even in UG2 ver. UC ver. is more high revving. -mit_eclip_a made more aggressive in PS -nis_350z_b is a mix of nis_350z_b+ast_db9_b (carbon ver.) -prot_a sound changed slightly -por_rsr_a, although a new sound node introduced in PS, replaces the "por_911_b" in previous games and uses the no. 041 -dp6_a and cl55_a changed in UC -m3_c changed in PS -m5_a changed in UC, less aggressive sound -rs4 has updated in UC, uses a mix of r8_b -carrgt_a sounds are changed in PS -lam_murc_a changed in UC, made them more aggressive and paired with another v12 sound accel and decel(decel reuses zon_a's .gin) -for_mustgt_c is the old corvette_z06 used in carbon and MW -cor_z06_a, although introduced in PS, has actually started back in carbon where car_073 is introduced. It has also changed again in UC as well. -hemi_a, r32_a, jag_xk_a are changed in PS -ast_db9_b has changed in UC -maz_rx7_b uses a different .gins than the ones from carbon -car_089 is nis_350z_c in carbon -pag_zon_a has changed in PS. -m5_b has changed in UC, uses a v10 sounds now in its full accel sound, presumably to also fit the m6 in the game. only half accel/decel is unchanged -aud_r8_a has changed in UC -sl65_b has changed in UC, has higher revving v12 gins also used in murc_a alongside. -por_cri_a uses a viper .gins in full accel -por_911_b is reintroduced in UC after absent in PS notes: -rs1 uses a v8 and v10 accel .gins, presumably an attempt to imitate i5 exhaust sound -eclip_c does have a dedicated I4 sound, but unknowingly unused here and uses v6 -fer_246_a_mod is a mix of v12 or i6 and a v8 accel .gins and v10 decel .gins
@@2Drexxed The sound is name nis_350z_d but I heard they swapped 4.5L V8 from a Nissan model (but forgot which ones) and they recorded from V8 swapped 350Zs and they kept the name of 350Z. Some sounds as you can hear not all of them have the "correct" name.
8:58 The file in the 4G63T's sounds called mit_evo8_a, and this GIN files would later be used to '99 2G Eclipse GS-T on the next NFSC REDUX 2024 updates if the car is upgraded to Pro Package, whereas the Stock/Street Package still uses the mit_eclip_b/V6 sounds used in Vanilla Versions

TBH out of all the "golden post-underground" need for speed games, NFS Carbon probably has one of the best car sounds in the series next to NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 and oddly enough NFS Prostreet. :)
Interestingly that some sounds are still used from these like: pag_zon_b is used for the PS3/Xbox 360 version now in the remastered for the Zonda, sub_wrx_d_eng for the Impreza hatchback, mcl_f1_a_eng for ther F1 and lam_galla_a_eng for the Sesto and all Gallardos.
@Neon Well, but why does the F1 sounds like it is using mcl_f1_a_eng for example? And why the Porsche Panamera Turbo S in NFS MW 2012 sound like por_928_b? Heck, even the E30 in NFS 2015 - Heat seems it is using vw_gti_b.
@Neon Yeah, but if you extract the M3 E30 sound from 2015/Heat you can see it is 1:1 as vw_gti_b. Sure but still wondering why some sounds are 1:1 if are not used the Black Box's assets? Also, the Crown Victoria sound is another Audi S4 sound but less raspy than aud_s4_a. If Black Box recorded it it would be called probably aud_s4_b. And about vw_gti_b is this really from a Golf or another car like 240ZG?
@Neon Criterion have been know to take sounds from blackbox for a while, they did so with Burnout Paradise and they've done so with HP2010 and MW2012. Heck even ghost used BB sounds for Rivals for whatever they could
@@HeroManNick132 So this is why i hear the 5.0ish sound when i want to rev the sesto elemento slowly in Hp remastered And yes it's really from Mw 2005 💀💀

I know that BB used a few of the same sounds as used in F&F, and I think I can say for certain that ply_cuda is the same as the Charger from the first movie...
You know what is surprising that Black Box probably took these Supra sounds from the Craig's Orange Supra real sound (that got mixed with Brian's R34 Skyline sound that was used in NFS U2) and they made toy_supra_b from these: www.sounddogs.com/search?keywords=supra%20peelout, www.sounddogs.com/search?keywords=Toyota%20supra&page=5. Still doesn't sound as fully stock Supra only FH4 got the right sound. Also, these sounds were recorded back in 2001 and I was wondering why Black Box didn't took the Supra sound but they took the R34 Skyline sound from 2F&F instead?
@@viperboi1189 Because they didn't record a proper Evo sound until NFS Carbon however they recorded from stock Evo 8 but not from stock Evo 9 until NFS Pro Street. And finally they recorded the real Eclipse GSX sound until NFS World which is another Evo sound but it is no surprise that is using the same 4G63 engine from the Evo 1-9. And since NFS U2 - MW 2005 lacked of sound files Black Box had to improvise with the S2000 sounds and for stock and upgraded sound probably they decided to use the S2000 to replicate the sound in 2F&F Brian's Evo 7 which was a heavily modified mix of different Honda sounds mostly from heavily modified S2000. Also, don't understand why the Evo 8 sound wasn't used for the Eclipse GSX instead of 3000GT sound and why in NFS Pro Street Black Box decided to put a Cavalier sound to Eclipse.
It is weird they still use a modified version of lam_galla_b or galla_a to the v10 cars and only stopped using it in 2019 and even then the huracan is still using a gallardo sound rather than the aud_r8_c
QUESTION: Is it possible for cars in NFS ProStreet to use .gin files like in Carbon instead of .tmx files? Like letting them use the engineaudio instead of engineaudio_ng?
@@KristianLyubenovYT Well, they already stole the sound of the Evo 9 from there, and they putted that same sound in the RX-8 of Mia on the intro, I wouldn't be surprised they took it from there
Idk but aud_S4 sounds liked Corvette C5R 7.0 feel sounds just port of old games, toy ae86 a is original Corolla GTS 86 in Japan is Sprinter Trueno Closer to US trim and GTS unfortunately have less HP and Torque because the California and USA emissions regulation BMW M3 E46 and Z4 M 3.2 I6 have similar situation, but zcp package on M3 E46 can helps to give feeling of CSL little bit and E92 have zcp package too but is good with 7 speed DCT,mazda RX8 B is just liked Bridgeport N/A,idk but Honda Prelude idk the gen maybe is Type SH last model, fer 360 maybe is CS or Modena,Aston Martin DB9 A is a cut but sound is close the Vantage V600 this car is awesome and have great supercharger system, Porsche DP6 i think is the 935 idk,hon s2k D is agressive FC 20 on carbon gin is wrong and config engine audio node values feel sounds on carbon just use MW engine audio values, Porsche 911_A and B sounds liked RSR,i just use Forza for base the sounds quality, Acura Integra and S2000 USA have less piston compression compared to JDM unfortunately just the integra type r sound like ITB mod, Supra A is stock 2JZ B sounds is remember the Brian Supra but is similar not like the same movie sound, ply cuda like the stock 426 or 440 sounds is little bit closer and Torque Flite 3 Speed i think is 4.86 final gear or 4.1 is very short short gear ratio I not like short final gear ratio is better very close gear ratios and top speed final gear,slr_B and SL65_B is mixed liked some others after undercover not all,if EA record all engine sounds liked forza and much others games NFS wins more details and pro street have feel things makes difference and should be have in underground-carbon less arcade and more realistic specs and close to real life little bit like more realistic games but mixed with arcade mode just like to create GTA atmosphere,is not bad have realism in the games but is equilibrium not much simulator and not unrealistic, just have good and fun game just like old games
for some cars, they seem to have put them onto a dyno stand, some seem to be recorded on a air strip and some seem to just be taken on a race track. it seems like it depended on what they could get their hands on
For example dod_chrgr_a is recorded on dyno. But for the DCL they took it on a strip. Here is a video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EtCryslcFOs.html&t
Also these 2 from 2F2F. 0:40 Brian's R34 GTR 1:17 Pierce's Eclipse Weirdly this Supra sound at 14:44 the exact same one was recorded from the Craig's Orange Supra for the 1st Movie but they used in 2F2F for the R34 sound.
@@55Berg Not all sounds are but some are from Fast and Furious. For example ply_cuda_a is literally from Dom's scene: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L_Cb1OepkY8.html It sounds 1:1. Also many of the sounds in NFS UG2 have 2F2F name so that proves they took them from Fast and Furious.
The NFS The Run acceleration version is surprisingly better than the NFS World's version of lam_galla_b. It revs for longer and it is higher pitched. And in fact it is also the biggest TMX sound lol.
@@pradhanasurya8004 Well, the Gallardo's sound is just really high-pitched lam_galla_b like NFS MW 2012. And it is like 18 seconds long the hard acceleration. It is funny how The Run's lex_lfa_a and aud_r8_a are mix of lam_galla_b for the low RPM and for the high RPM are used lex_lfa_a & aud_r8_c. And you know what's really funny how the Tier 2/4 Megane RS as well the Tier 5 Supra/Scirocco use hon_s2000_f for exhaust which is really weird why. This explains why even Tier 2/3 Supra has S2000 DCL sound. At first it sounded like chev_cav_b but looking at the files there is no chev_cav_b there and from all I4 sounds the hon_s2000_f makes the most sense and wondering what of logic they had, especially putting it on a Supra lol.
@@2Drexxed The ones used in NFS MW 2005 don't have a TMX format and my friend has made also a video of it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9SaWKFqlDrs.html Yes it uses GIN_BMW_M3_race and GIN_BMW_LagSeca_V2. bmw_m3_a is GIN_BMW_M3 which is the stock Audi TT 3.2 Quattro sound in NFS MW 2005. GIN_BMW_M3_LagSeca_V2 will be similar to bmw_m3_c, while GIN_BMW_M3_race will be bmw_m3_b. Not to be confused with the NFS World bmw_m3_race_a which is a V8 sound.
That was originally tvr_chimaera from NFS Most Wanted, in which it was unused (the vlt data doesn't even exist). It sounds similar to tvr_cerb, but without the straight cut gear sound. In NFS Pro Street this sound doesn't work, but its name is "car_067-exhaust.tmx"
