Just became a dad a week ago. My poor wife has barely gotten any sleep and the baby has been fussy pretty much all night. Listening to this reminded me to make caring for my wife and child a sacrifice for God. I’ll take many more sleepless nights then.
Eru Clusivus Thank you for my comments . Every orthodox christians in Japan know of St. Nicholas of Japan , who is the first archbishop of our church . Although I was a budhist , as many of japasene are , I converted to orthodox church of Japan when I was in a junior high school . My parents and brother who were budhists followed me and converted . Our family are very poor , but live a very happy life . Please pray for us .
I have been twice in Japan. I visited Nikolai-do in Tokyo and also an Orthodox church in Osaka. Japanese would have been the greatest Christians, if they weren't that materialists. Greetings from beautiful Greece, こんにちは!
Christianity wasnt welcomed that much in Japan, consider yourself to be beloved by God for guiding you to the right faith, my dear brother. Not many will walk trough that narrow path of salvation. Take care of yourself and may God always be there for you and your family. Your brother in Christ
I have told you "thou shalt not kill", and yet you kill, my dearest creatures the animals for your greed for their flesh, skin, and fur..Sin no more, and go VEGAN.Amen
😂😂😂, You know that works for awhile, but in church especially, seeing others who actually strive to live the faith and apply it who have ailments or struggles, I found saying us us so much more applicable. Meaning and referencing the sincere of faith. Where we are all one. Oh, I found chicken and other fowl lay eggs, they come out their butt, where I lost my appetite for eggs! And they do come out the butt.
@@carlaenadd As to vegan, there's meat alternatives that mirror meat texture even similiar flavor. Where I am with you. I still eat meat BC as I eat what's convenience and not being very mobile. Which a person accustomed to a certain way needs assistance and support. And definitely no imposing anything like green stuff other than peppers and green onions top. Greens make me sick!! Nautious sick. Someone imposing greens would be seen as opposite as being charitable, knowing this, then anger if they tried to slip poison in food. Crawfish and mushrooms are Bette, as is boudin, and such. But, it'd be good if you're really into it, if others knew, to realize as it's seen as a problem, before saying anything, create a solution, as most only know things as they're accustomed to. I say this as I rather not eat animals. Fish, I need my fish. I also like oatmeal, brown sugar, male sytup, pinch of salt, tbsp. Butter or olive oil and a rice cooker cooks it perfect every time, 😂😂. But an Orthodox vegan instructions as making vegan meats. You tube has good shows, where I do not have the means to do these things, but many others do. In time, they might could help guide others.
It was initially because of the Valaam chanting that I realized I needed to become an Orthodox Christian. Thank you brothers in Christ for these divine sounds, you are touching the whole world.
Beautiful soul elevating heaven descending orthodox chant.I am traditional Roman Catholic God bless and keep the Orthodox Church you will bring Christianity back to the West.Deo Gratias

Don't rest on the laurels... the truth and true belief in Christ awaits all of God's creation. Be courageous, take the step that will cause all around you to rebuke you, for the sake of Christ our Saviour. Catholicism has lost the truth... fight for your soul and not for what is easiest to do! It is indeed a battle with ourselves!
Time does not change the need for us to rely completely on God and these prayers are timely. We lean on crutches and rely upon our self and what we think we need. 🙏 God knows what we need.✒️📚
I am an Indian Pentecostal believer and I am deeply moved by Christian Orthodox chanting. I believe that many Hindus and Buddhists have taken Orthodox Christian worship of the same kind. Oh Lord, in your presence, my prayer takes me deeper.
I give all praise, honor and glory to the Holy, Consubstantial, Life-Giving, undivided Trinity in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit now and forever eternal. Anna
It is more graceful and more worship like isn't it? Where others sound like they're moaning, some as if they like hearing themselves and God got put in the backseat if not out the door. Very pathetic. Even without a building, the church still exists.
Child I agree with you. So many in U.S. has this erroneous image of God as that of corrupt evil men who desire power, control and Dominion. Some has to be because there are those that disregard others, then overt with vices, etc., Where they have to be controlled. They do not see this all powerful God with much power over the universe, which men covet such power for selfishness. Where God if seen for who he is, is gentle, kind, merciful and things said elsewhere as in Galatians 5 fruits of the spirit. As Jesus said. If you seen me, you've seen the father. God is a spirit, able to be anything. But kindness, gentleness, etc., was what was seen of Jesus, as he was the image of the father, which man lost. So many Protestants are retards, they do not understand grammar, language or definitions, where they might be Satan that comes as an angel of light, which was f course would be in Orthodox and others. I'm so glad you said that.

orthodoxy forever!muchas spasiba for this beautiful share..i thought i heard it all..these beautiful voices are a gem among my many different language orthodox chants i have in my vault and it's still growing.old Greek was my first and it was my roots to where i am today in my orthodoxy..and it's rocor.i've learned to love our beautiful male /female choir church slavonic...although i speak nor understand any of these languages it's as if i still feel connected by some comfortable ....my dna test results came up broadly european among other nations.i now know i have a smaller percentage of italian as i was led to believe as a kid .but i feel i have a connection to the greeks and now to the russians,Ukrainians,etc..i'd love to dive deeper into this someday soon..this here truly puts me into a divine trance..their voices sound like they are enhanced by electronics but it's not ,it's precision to make it sound like ,reverb, echo, etc..the monks or priests in the choir not the priests at the alter ,right?.
thank you Katerina for sharing, wish to go there and the Anastasia monastery in Kostroma to support the orphanage of children as I have taken care as a longtime volunteer for the shelter of orphanage brown bear cubs in Kuterevo,Hrvatsku, wish you a blessed day dear one
@@eliseereclus3475 You'll need to disprove over twenty occurences of the preternatural from Scripture. And, how modern psychiatry accepts demonic possession.
You know I'd love for ailments to be healed so I could be mobile and physically exemplify what I should! Where it'd be good to be able to start a mission to draw in others that desire truth as well as witness true worship! I am sure there are many that just do not know! I need spiritual children too, 😂😂😂. I had one Godson who passed away a few months back. 80years old, still I gate to see him go. Now I'm pass half century mark, I might need younger children. Older are welcome.
My orthodox brothers and sisters, I am trying to identify the psalm/prayer that plays at 23:45 (approx). It has moved me to tears many times and I would love to be able to read alongside the music. Thank you so much and God bless you all
Psalm 140 according to the LXX. Text in Church-Slavonic. Then psalms 141 and 129... This part of the all-night service is called 'Gospodi Vozzvakh' (in Greek: Kyrie Ekekraxa). God bless you, brother!
