In my 2019 video dated October 20, I compare the 'No Contest' announcements in all languages for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Xander Mobus replaces Pat Cashman as the standard announcer, while the rest have remained unchanged since Brawl. Dutch and Russian are new additions to Ultimate's announcer lineup. Korean announcements, once done by Choi Han exclusively for Brawl, are now voiced by Xander Mobus starting with Smash 4.
To share my personal opinion, the Korean announcing doesn't impress me much, whereas the Dutch announcing is quite appealing. The Russian announcing doesn't particularly interest me, though the announcer has done commendable work. The French announcer's voice strikes me as the most charming. Both German and Dutch have a humorous tone. The Italian announcer seems somewhat lackluster, and the Spanish announcer doesn't resonate well with me. The Russian announcer has a timbre similar to Xander Mobus but with a mature quality, and he does an excellent job. Among all the international announcers in Smash Bros. Ultimate, Jean Louis Faure stands out as my favorite, aside from Xander Mobus.
