Watching scenes from this show 6 years later when I'm much older makes me realize that Noah was created as a character to appeal to the high school audience for the show
@Jonathan Yescas pretty sure he's based off of David Spade. You know to contrast with Owen who's based off Chris Farley. They even have a similar nasally voice.
@@Aelvir114 Owen should've been voted. Either that or Izzy should've stayed and make a tiebreaker between Alejandro and someone who isn't Noah or Tyler, with Al winning.
To be honest, this is kinda why I loved season 3 because he got way more screen time than he did in season 1. It was great so see him so helpful and even warned the rest about Alejandro. Wish he got more justice in Ridonculous Race though and didn't turn his character into such a love obsessed idiot.
I never realized how many iconic lines Noah has. -telling Tyler to make a mental note that Lindsay likes to be called baby -saying Cody has a small sausage -saying calling Chris old by saying he was young in the 70s -saying Sierra has no life and buying one online is better. -calling Alejandro “heather with social skills” He’s like the most realistic teenager on here.
From this moment right here, 10:05 the writers could have easily made Noah into a major character this season because he (aside from Heather) didn’t trust Alejandro. Instead, they wasted it on a stupid love triangle we all hate. Seriously, it was just super tedious.
Definitely. Owen should’ve been eliminated in London instead of Noah (And Duncan shouldn’t make final 5 three seasons in a row, so let Noah take his place, too)
@@havk. In my opinion, when izzy was DQ’d, DJ should’ve switched over to chris is reallyx4 hot and then NOT add Duncan back, then have gwen eliminated in London because of something idk
I think that instead of Noah being eliminated in London Owen gets eliminated and Duncan alongside Noah gets eliminated in Africa to tie for 5th as the Alejandro,Heather Cody and Sierra final 4 is amazing. OR have Noah get eliminated in London and have him return instead to Blainley and get eliminated in Africa alongside Duncan again to tie for 5th
@@FUNNI_LOSER the ridonculous race is very much a canon spin-off as pahkitew island is referenced many times and we see cameos from chris and blaineley from the main series, plus geoff mentions bridgette numerous times.
Noah is one of the most underrated characters in total drama. He really peaked in world tour. Not to mention his elimination was absolute BS. His team lost because they won the challenge, they captured “jack the ripper” which was the challenge, the amazons caught Duncan and that is logical enough for them to win
@@donathan2933 it sucks ass bc the other team won SO many challenges yet chris "kept making up rules" and kept letting the other team win for no reason
@@lvxlyrosesAgreed, It's some Ass. I SWEAR. His elimination was one of the most unfair ones, imo. He really was a funny and actual character with humor in TDWT. He really deserved more loves.
Noah is one of my favorite Total Drama characters, much like many other fans. However, I still wonder: What exactly makes him so popular? Is it his sarcasm, his relatively normal personality, his wit, or all of that? There’s just something about him that’s really fun to watch, and I’ve been wondering what it was.
Diego Productions I think it's because everything he says is witty and sarcastic and people love that. Not to mention he often says what you're thinking but don't say out loud lol
The only reason it exists is because Team Amazon likely would've voted for Heather. Everytime Heather or Alejandro could've lost the episode was either a non-elimination leg or some technacility saved them.
3:18 " FINALLY , THANKS FOR NOT NOTICING I WAS MISSING ALL NIGHT, WHAT AM I TYLER ?!?!" That line literally made me cackle, Noah is definitly the funniest character in world tour he should've been in so much longer 😂😂😂
There were a lot of characters in season 3 that I didn't get to appreciate as much in season 1, and Noah is one of the best, along with Cody, and Heather.
8:14 "Considering buying myself a life on Friend List, but having trouble deciding because they are all such a major improvement!" (Later) "Must learn how to make nose shakes like Owen, that'll impress Cody!"
Favorite moments: 0:21 "COME FLY WITH US! COME DIE WITH US!" 0:46 "Poor Iz? She kept insisting we go in circles because she "smelled something lucky"." 0:57 "Hey, Brick-house, I found your girl." 1:22 "Yeah, this is gonna work." 1:47 "Woah, woah! Izzy's on our team now, not yours!" 2:11 "I'm allergic to Panda dander." 2:32 "ThInK oF tHe ChIlDrEn!" 3:19 "Finally! Thanks for not noticing I was missing all night! What am I, Tyler!?" 3:31 "Make a mental note of that, bro." 3:51 "Ha! Cody's got a tiny sausage!" 4:21 (Gets kicked off by Leshawna) 4:37 "Stupid economy class." 5:01 "Sure, all we're missing is chips, beef, tomatoes, cheese, salsa..." 5:34 "Who wants the ball?" 6:09 "Those aren't. Even. Words!" 6:32 "Yeah, because that's exaclty what I told them to say." 6:49 "Okay, I think he said something about Owen's butt." 6:58 His confessional.
My friend said “stop fangirling over a fictional character” I said “you had a crush on a anime character. Let me have my turn” ( I don’t have a crush on Noah he’s just my favorite character. Unlike my friend that had a crush on a anime character )
I laugh every time part of the reason World Tour is my favorite season. I wish there was one last, but season with all the original cast. Noah is the best in my opinion.
this season went down when duncan returned -the love triangle -gwen's character going down hill -noah being eliminated -tyler being eliminated -boring challenges -and gwen dating duncan but after gwen was eliminated the show picked back up
Only because Courtney stopped going after Gwen. If Courtney lost the Tie breaker, which to be honest she should've. I think it would've been even better.
@@GamerGamerGamer77777 Then Duncan should've left or just not returned at all because he gets far every season, while Gwen was what fourth in action? I feel she could've used some more development.
@@dpgamezderek8137 i don't know i still liked duncan and wanted him to return and was still funny but gwen i don't know just i dislike her *in this season* all stars she was good
Noah’s eleamtion in I See London is the worst(I know that’s arguable). Why does Gwen and Courtney catching Duncan give the Amazons the win if Noah and Owen caught the Ripper witch was the challenge.
In the beginning of this season the eliminations were pretty bad. Leshawna's team lost all the challenges at the beginning except the 2 prize challenges.
It made me so mad. Team Amazon literally lost. Like, if the whole Duncan thing was _really_ needed, why didn’t they just have a tie? Granted, a tie is still unfair (because the Amazons lost) but it’s better than Noah being eliminated for winning the challenge.
I feel like it was actually Total Drama World Tour and not the original first season that truly showed us how complex of a character Noah could be when given a much more prominent role. In Total Drama Island, his defining traits really were only sarcasm and laziness, with sprinkles of the heart of gold persona we would see later. For that reason, when I first watched Total Drama Island as a kid, I really did not like him all that much, especially after The Dodgebrawl Challenge where he acted like a complete stuck up annoying jerk. However, Total Drama World Tour changed my mind when finally I came to see there was more to his character than just this. He was still extremely sarcastic, but had a soft spot when it came to certain people, especially Owen in the middle of the season. (I always found Noah funny, but I just thought this was his only trait until World Tour.) As the season went on, his sarcastic and more considerate parts of his personality beautifully started to balance, especially when it came to The Ridonculous Race. Because of this development, Noah became a favorite of mine pretty quickly after World Tour, and made his elimination in that season sting a bit harder than most of the others for me. Noah is an example of a secondary character benefiting from extra screen time and development from the situations presented to the character.
The fact that at twenty-one and a half years old I still find Noah to be one of my consistently favorite characters of all time speaks volumes about Total Drama as a show. The fact that even in 2021 I find the material in this show, especially this season, to be as enjoyable as ever proves in my opinion that the show is aging perfectly with time, much like a fine wine. Every time I find myself coming back to Total Drama, I end up appreciating something new about it I never noticed before and Noah's characterization is one of those aspects. He simply is not a textbook example of a straight-man character that stays logical despite all the chaos going on around them. Noah is a character with a secret heart of gold that may not be the most sympathic person ever, but has emotional layers to them that definitely deserve attention.
"I dont know if we land in the 70s" he was rlly smart and funny. I am surprised that he has never reached the team fusion and that all the times he was eliminated were careless, which surprises me that he took it since he has +140 IQ
Yeah, his WT elimination was not fair tho. He and Owen completed the challenge, so they should have won. I understand why he got eliminated, but his team should have won.
