Thank you for another wonderful compilation like this. I don’t feel quite as passionately about the Mario movie’s cranky voice, but if they’re ever gonna make a DK movie from Illumination, they’d have to iron out some wrinkles in his performance if he’s gonna be a primary character. Regardless, Aaron Tager knocked it out of the park day 1, and is generally one of the more “on-point” characters in this show by comparison to the rest of the cast. He almost has perfect attendance, too, being in 39 out of 40 DKC episodes, while only missing the Leo Luster episode for some reason.

Late, but I do agree with you. While I thought that Cranky Kong's voice in The Super Mario Bros. Movie was alright, Aron Tager did it much better in the Donkey Kong Country TV Show. In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Cranky Kong sounds too young, especially for his age, while here, he sounds more raspy, which fits better with how old he is.

Cranky may be so impatient, but he has a sense of humor.
